The other night at my local venue, some friends and I got into a debate about the best 100 pt team. I put forward that for 100 pts, the theme team of Jason Blood and Puma might be unbeatable. The best argued team against it was Nightcrawler and a nurse.

What do you guys think?

I don't think there is such a thing as an unbeatable team.

They have the edge against Jason and Puma as well.

2 Nightshades would work. But I think Nightshade and Peter Parker would be very interesting.

Great team! AP on Hawkeye for the even 100.
Also this team:
R Mockingbird - 19
AV Moon Knight - 38
R Tigra + Not So Special - 43

Lots of free movement and high DV... Mockingbird can help with MK's range using SHIELD as a free action, if necessary. Tigra's AV is helped with Not So Special.

I've also been using WoS Venom + Swingline to incredible effect. Steal Energy helps against Mystics, and that SP is great for surprising opponents who think they're out of his 6-square charge (with Swingline), or 4 range. I think I actually like it even better than my tried-and-true Azbat w/Swingline.

Another team worth fielding could be Arachne and Peter Parker. Pete WC's Arachne's free move, and perplex makes Arachne's 18 DV a formidable 19. Plus the opportunity to AE into Spidey.

R Vision and SR Scarlet Witch is 100 even and it's theme. If Vision lands on his impervious clix he may be unstoppable.

Question and Bronze Tiger are a 97 point Martial Artist theme team. Outwit, perplex, and some close combat butt kicking.

Or Thunderbolts ATA on him for Modern Age.

R Vision and SR Scarlet Witch is 100 even and it's theme. If Vision lands on his impervious clix he may be unstoppable.

R Cloak (47 pts) + R Dagger (53 pts) = 100 pts even. Exploit Weakness on one and Psychic Blast on the other, so both a danger to anyone sporting any damage reducers!

Yeah, but how much damage reduction are you likely to see in a 100 pt game?
