Hey everyone,

We have bi-weekly HeroClix tournaments at Spandex City Comic Book Lounge - every other Thursday at 6:30 pm. (We also have 14 and under youth tournaments every other Friday at 5 pm.)

Our next tournament is Thursday, 10/7. The format for this one is 'Megadraft'. You will draft 5 pieces from 5 different boosters and play with all of them, regardless of point total. For more details, and registration, please visit our tournaments web page (http://spandexcity.com/Tournaments).

We wil have LE Web of Spider-man pieces as prize support.

We welcome friendly players of all ages, shapes, and sizes! We also keep season-long standings which build towards season-ending playoff tournaments.

Come on over for our Heroclix Draft tournament Thursday evening. Here's how it works:

The tournament will be 3 rounds long. Each round will have a 45-minute time limit. Your force will consist only of pieces from tournament booster packs, as described below.

Each player will select a SEALED booster pack from the store at the start of the tournament. Players will be randomly arranged in a ring for the draft. Each player will simultaneously open the chosen booster pack and perform the following actions:


Remove and keep any non-character elements (e.g. feat cards, bystander tokens, special objects)
Turn each character element to its starting click (no other clicking is allowed)
Choose ONE character from the booster pack to keep
PASS the remaining contents of the booster pack to the left


Each player will then repeat the last two steps until five character pieces are selected. Each player's force will consist of ALL 5 pieces drafted, up to a maximum point value of 400. At the end of the tournament, each player keeps the pieces drafted, rather than the contents from the original booster pack.

I have set up a group to have meeting place for all players in North Carolina & South Carolina. Our Venue (Myrtle Beach) had a Tournament with Charleston & it was alot of fun. So I asking All players in the Carolinas to join so we might be able to have more Tournaments between different venues.
