Anyone here collect the 3.75" Marvel Universe Figures?
Just curious. I started collecting them a couple months ago. Wouldn't mind making some hcrealms contacts that "hunt" for them in the stores in their area.

you talking about the ones from the magazine?

Not sure man. they sell them in stores. They are the Hasbro Marvel Universe figures. They sell them on the Hasbro site, or in stores like Target, Toys R Us, Meijer, Wal-Mart.
Basically I'm fishing for people who collect them as well to try and work out some contacts who hunt around stores in their area for figures.
I know "Of Them" Didn't they used to be fairly large...started with Spiderman themed ones but now they're GI Joe and Star Wars size and come with Fury Or HAMMER Files?

Yea. I think they are a tad larger than a GI Joe, maybe? I dunno.

yeah but they used to be huge and comed with a Diorama base and most of the time: A promo comic from where the figure supposedly came from
I've been wanting to start collecting them. I have had my eye on them for a while. I just saw a 2 pack the other day at my local Target which was Dark Avengers with Dark Wolverine & Venom.

That two pack is pretty cool I almost go it, but haven't gotten any of the 2 packs yet, just not a huge interest, but that one is pretty cool looking.

Any particular figures that you're looking for? We have tons of local stores with tons of these Marvel Universe figures sitting on their shelves.
They are in scale with your typical GI Joe figures, actually.
And yeah, I've been collecting them enthusiastically since day one, plus the offshoot lines "X-Men Origins Wolverine" and "Iron Man 2", both in the "Comic Series".
With each subsequent release, I find myself missing the old Marvel Legends less and less, especially since for a figure in a 6" scale, you can expect to pay fifteen dollars or more even at mass market, whereas these guys just run you seven.
If you got a list of what you're looking for, I have friends that work at Wal-Mart, Target, and K-Mart.
I cherry-pick some figures from the Marvel Universe line. I don't love what they did with the articulation (kind of overboard for my tastes), so I only get favorite characters. They're also not generally easy to find in my area; old peg warmers clog up the aisles and new releases are hard to find. I've still never seen a Warpath and I desperately need both retail versions of Archangel!
I've reviewed some of them as well:
Hulk & Cyclops Comic Pack: http://www.superherotimes.com/newsarchive/005057.php
SDCC 2010 Exclusive WWII Ultimate Captain America: http://www.figures.com/forums/news/11105-sdcc10-exclusive-hasbro-marvel-universe-captain-america.html
Huge "Masterworks" Galactus: http://www.figures.com/forums/news/11621-marvel-universe-masterworks-galactus.html
Right now I'm trying to find someone going to NYCC to get me the X-Force Archangel by signing up for a Marvel Digital Comics subscription!
i have picked up a new Thor, and a coupkle of the IronMan 2 ones (war amchine, titanium man, and the 90's armor IM). they are cool. still thinking of getting a few more, but not sure if i am going to collect them like i did with Marvel Legends when they first came out (I have every set up to when Hasbro got the license)
NICE COAD. I still have my very first Marvel Legends figure: Man-Spider....The Promo comic has seen better days though : \
I'd reccomend picking up The Hulk Buster...>just saying it looks pretty badass.
War Machine and Titanium Man (and about a million variations of Iron Man) are in the "Iron Man 2" line - same scale, but different series. Just as with Marvel Universe, there are some truly great figures, and some that are just so-so. Troma99, good call on the Hulkbuster; it's huge and awesome.
I've done some reviews of this line too:
Titanium Man: http://www.figures.com/forums/news/11467-iron-man-2-comic-series-titanium-man.html
Kmart exclusive Advanced Tactical Armor set: http://www.figures.com/forums/news/10591-3-3-4-iron-man-2-concept-series-advanced-tactical-armor.html
War Machine, Deep Dive Armor, & Power Assault Armor: http://www.figures.com/forums/news/10462-3-iron-man-2-deep-dive-power-assault-war-machine.html
yeah it seems like the "Bigger" Figures...are solid chcoices...I was tempted to get Red Hulk Even.
I am now kicking myself. my local Walmart was selling these at $9.99 each, and had Juggernaut, Colossus, and a few more of the new series. Now, they have dropped the prices to $5 each and i can't find the ones i want!!! ARRGH!
I am looking for Archangel (non NYCC version or the variant). If anyone has access to one, and is willing to help out, that would be awesome.

I've been wanting to start collecting them. I have had my eye on them for a while. I just saw a 2 pack the other day at my local Target which was Dark Avengers with Dark Wolverine & Venom.
I have been looking for that one but most of these figures are really hard to find in Canada, or at least Ottawa. They don't have Target up here and Wal-Mart and Toys R' Us up here rarely have anything other than Hand Ninjas, Ronins, and Punishers. I might have to go to ebay to get that pack sadly.
I have about a dozen or so of them right now. Around here mostly the comic shops and one toy store I found have them, but they aren't cheap. They go for $9.99 in the regular stores but about $12.99-$14.99 at the specialty stores. The one store that has tons of the ones I want charges insane prices. They want $40 for the Ultimates Cap! When I was in California last month I bought him and a few others for regular prices from a Toys R Us.
So far I have,
SDCC 2010 Ultimate WWII Cap
Ultimates Cap
Modern Thor
Ms. Marvel
Havok
Kitty Pryde
Colossus
Team X Wolverine
Union Jack
Winter Soldier
Red Hulk
Iron Patriot
Hobgoblin
