i'm hoping we'll see a powerful professor X soon

now that mind control is being given to quite a few characters now, and especially seeing that vet mandarin has 12 range and 11 attack (?) with MC, i think it's almost inevitable.

i thought the professor was the greatest mind (or close to) in the marvel universe? i mean, moondragon already is making him "almost" obsolete. if one wasn't trying to field an all-x-men team, moondragon will probably be picked earlier than professor x.

my suggestion is having the professor with that mind-amplifying helmet on. around 100 points for 12 range, 12 attack to start, mind control throughout the dial. psychic blast first, then incapacitate. leadership first, then outwit towards the end... just something to make us want to field him for mind control again...

I'd give him a single click of Outwit at the start of his dial, just so he can Mind Control figures with Battle Fury. After that, Leadership. Then maybe 3-4 clicks with Psychic Blast and 1 damage? I don't think I'd make his dial any longer than 5 or 6 clicks though. I'd probably give him high defense with Energy Shield, a la Magneto too.

I think he should be able to MC more than 1 character at a time. In Giant Size X-men #1 he MC'd a whole mob that was after NightCrawler, & this would have been equivalent to an EXPERIENCED version of Prof X.

If we do get a Prof X some time in the future, I predict that he will be walking as he has several times in the past (before Lucifer crippled him, during the Secret Wars ((healed by Sikorsky)), currently, & 1 time between the last 2 I mentoned).
