Where is the best place to sell them? here? evilbay?
how would be the best way to sell them individually? story arcs? runs? lots?
help a brother out, please?
Unfortunately, E-Bay is the 'best' place to sell them. I sold a bunch of mine off a few years back, to finance my clix 'habit' :p
I don't think there is much of a market here on HC Realms for them.

How you sell your comics really depends on what you are willing to sacrifice.
If you wish to reap more cash from your collection then you will need to sacrifice time and effort. The more time and effort you ut into finding a buyer to pay top dollar will yeild a better result. But it does take time and effort. You will also likely end up with a cherry-picked collection at the end.
If you wish to realize immediate cash and don't care about the value of your collection you can sell to a comic book store. This will save you time and effort but will sacrifice profit. Remember just because an issue is worth 20 bucks doesn't mean a comic book store can give you 20 bucks for it. It is more likely you will get no more than half the value and likely less. It will depend on that store's inventory and demand. They also have to pay overhead costs to keep their store running. If they give you full value for your collection, how would they price it to make a profit?

Sell online (eBay, Craig's list) to other collectors. Find out which issues are in greater demand, get a price guide, grade your comics, and generally just be aware of the value of your books so that you will know what to expect to get for them.
By no means walk into a retail store and expect to get a decent offer for your comic books.

Selling comics via eBay is not a direct connection to a good price for your collection. It can backfire.

Sure, which is why you grade your book using a guide, find out the going market price, and then set up the listing with a reserve, and if the reserve is not met then you are not forced to give up your first appearance of Deadpool for a high bid of $2.08. I guess I wasn't explicit enough in my post. Sorry about that.

Sold my whole collection, 3000+ books, in 1989.
Wish I hadn't.
Of all the things I've sold, swapped and traded over the years, there is only one thing I miss now.
Well, there's actually about 3000 things I miss now.
Just sayin'.
