who have YOU already added to your team?

now, you know that no matter how good your team is, an xplosion fig will come out that is better. so, who will you be replacing on your current team with who and why?

for me, it's good-bye v cyclops, hello u deathbird. cheaper, flight-capable, faster, more esd, just better overall!

I think it would be more prudent to wait until we see the stats of all the X-plosion figs before passing final judgement. ;)

But so far, Mystique is looking good, so is Green Goblin, and I'm already dreaming up teams that revolve around Mandarin, maybe even Abomination! ;)

All I can say for sure is that the X-men sure got a lot scarier when it comes to theme games. That's what 4(?) new flyers they got this set along with 2(?) perplexers. Talk about a whole mess of options... :eek:

I'll MAKE Iron Man fit on my 300 pt Avengers team.
Also, I will put Viper into the hydra team where she belongs. Taskmaster gets to lead a team of Doom goons all by himself...oh, he11, I'll have to redo everything. From what I've seen so far, this set is better than I thought it would be...and I was pretty jazzed about it to begin with!

i've gotta go with any of the con artists!The cheepest figure with perplex is rookie riddler at i think 31 or 34 points!Now it's 11 to 17 points for con artists rookie to his veteran.

I got to go with R Paramedic, with 2 clicks of 7 attack with Support for 8pt., he'll definately be on all my teams.

Also, the Con Artist don't thrill me because they must be pushed. R Mystique is about half the points of Dr. Octopus(Marvel's cheapest pre-explosion Perplexer) and has Stealth and Brotherhood free move, that's one great support piece.

I'm having a hard time justifying putting Iron Man on any of my Avengers teams. I like the powers but that falling AV and point costs are a real turnoff. I'm disappointed.

Not me. I'll play him pretty much like how the game notes described him. That's the key, right there: looking at what the fig is intended to do. Personally, I love the use of regen at the end.
"I've bypassed the sensors and cut out the auxillaries...that's got it!" The idea of regenerating Iron Man up into his middle dial really appeals to me, and should make for some groans on the other side of the table.

I like Rookie Destiny, a full 9 points cheaper than the rookie Scarlet Witch. Sure, not an attack threat, but Super Senses gives her awesome defense, making her a very irritating support piece.

We've only seen stats for the Exp. Taskmaster and I'm already thinking the Vet. will be a great peice on any team. I really like the fact that he is MoD since he is a hitman for hire so he'll blend in well with any team, not to mention he can use that crazy memory of his for team ability usin'.

Silver Samurai will be a staple, especially on indoor maps. Great value for his points.

Vet Psylocke is looking to be quite useful as both support and as an offensive clix and you have to love versitility. I'm thinking a team if her, Vet Gambit, and U Pheonix will be quite nice.

Over all I'm thinking this set is going to be very fun to play with. It introduces alot of good, low cost figures aswell as some new options for big brawling.

The taskmaster is going on ALL my teams. I mean MOD team, Stealth with 6 range, high attack (11 on Exp) with BCF to start, Mastermind, Leadership, Incapacitate, Enhancement, Energy shield/deflection, AND flurry, all throughout his dial is TOO SWEET!

That new 160 ninja girl who gave up her point stick for a gun in this set. I'm sorry but 2 lightning bolts with mindcontrol and an attack of 10 makes her worth the two clicks I gotta deal to her before I can use them. Cripes the amount of wandon destruction I can cause with her gives me indescribable shivers of delight. Oh my god, I am going to have fun with that figgure.

A close second in Mandarin. A range 12 mindcontrol with a great attack makes him special and magical in ways that no herclix figgure should be.

Lastly would be that Vet. Doc Samson. Not only will he fit nicely on my PhD's of pain team, but he hurts for cheap.

Now here is a question, lets say I move my con artists one turn and then push them the next turn. Can I perplex people after they have been pushed? I so than several dozen of these fellows as well.

Elektra for her 2 arrows, Mandarin for his range, both for mind control.
I'm excited for Sauron and Iron Man too, but will see if they're worth the points.

With that stunning AV of 7, I think those groans are really laughs. Your opponent on the other side is already counting that 161 points. I wouldn't even dream of putting an experienced Iron - Man on a 300 or 400 point team.

And for the rookie? I'll take a Vision or Quasar any day of the week.
