First Tourney Coming up. NEED HELP!

Hi Guys, Im playing my first tournament this weekend and I need some tips or anything lol. It's a 1000 point keyword legal theme team.

I'm running Asgardians with the following line up from HOT:
Thor
Balder
Loki (Female) + Brilliant Tactician
Sif
Fandral
Beta Ray Bill + Armor Piercing + Not so Special
Hogun
Asgardian Warrior.

how about ditching thor and loki for THORKI! and do you have the Warriors Threee (ie: Volstaag) by chance? they kick some serious bootay!

Sadly, no. This is all I got to work with. I would def field the warriors three if I could.

hrm... camoflauge on loki(she DOES have shape change late dial, right?), and point blank on beta ray bill... MAYBE armor piercing on beta too, for EE. other than that, borrow some more cards if you can, or play some "pogs"...

ALSO, i think alot of venues let you PRINT cards and play them, ACTUALLY i think the rules LET you.

total team build : 1000, give the valkyres the prob tokens from the team probs, make sure to use frandrals outsmart wisely and try to keep loki on the perplex as long as possible and it should do alright, use the valkyres as carriers for balder and hogun and other close up guys, make sure that thor and loki stick togeather, she gets protection off of him as a meat shield and he gets the outsmart off of him.

Looks like a good choice of teams for the event. We only play 1,000 points once a year, but last time we did, the Asgardian team with the Warriors Three was extremely effective (it certainly beat down my team). Their attack values can overwhelm the opposing force before they know what's happening.

Thanks guys! I'm gonna consider running this team in groups. I'm going to use sif to taxi balder around like a wrecking ball to tie up and damage the heavy hitters from the other team. I'm going to use Hogun and Asgardian Warrior as tie up pieces. Fandral is going to be my initial outwitter, using his leab/climb to get him in poistion. Meanwhile Loki is going to be plexing up everyone's atk values and Thor and Bill to snip until Thor gets hurt and becomes a close combat monster. Any tips or suggestions for how to run them?

just first put brilliant taction on loki, outsmart on frandral, basiclly the feats from above, take lady sif out for 2 valkyres shes good but I like the support figs better for this team as you've got guys for face bashing brawls that will need healing later so they work and put hiemdall in as he is perfect at mucking up peoples plans as is outsmart on frandral,

It looks like a fun Asgardian team -- good luck! I haven't seen Thor and Bill played together, but I bet they'll have good synergy.
