There's always that one guy I supposed I'd pull him out for, but I think it'd be a hollow victory for me.
I would REALLY like to play him as this is one of my favorite Spidey story arcs of all time, but at the same time, I HATE BEING CHEESY, and I don't want to hear the groans of my fellow players. It's a horrible thing to not be able to play with a favorite character without complaints. Now I know how Superman fans feel.
Don't have one, so it'll be hard to play him!
On the other hand, I prefer to face him as much as I can until I develop a bullet-proof counter strategy!
Nothin' more fun than reducing supposed "clix gods" to the level of "mere mortal" with good ol' tactics and strategy! :D

he's not that great, actually... i beat him with a hodge-podge team two weeks ago. he's just SO expensive to field, i can't justify it.

I'll play mine once, and then he's gonna be put aside for DC 75 trade fodder. Can't imagine it'll be fun to play/play against.

He's a lot more beatable than what most people have said. Keeping that in mind, I'll only play him for fun. I won't rely on him if I really want to win.

I've used him a couple of times. He is a very good piece to use, but I still think he cost to much considering his short dial. Probably will only pull him out rarely. I prefer fun when it comes to heroclix.
On the other side, except for last week with no one using him. I think I have faced him anywhere from 1-3 times each week since WoS came out.

Probably won't ever play him since if I had one I'd immediately trade it for a figure I wanted more.
It has nothing to do with the any manner of cheese aversion. I just tend to build thematic (though not necessarily official "theme") teams and am therefore more interested in theme friendly figures.
The main reason I rarely played Ms.Skrullvel is because I rarely build skrull teams, and when I do, it's always more fun to use more "Skrully" figures, like Skrull Emperor and Super Skrull. At the same time, I'll use Superman a lot more often, simply because he fits on more themes (though due to point value, I most often end up reaching for the 100pt Legion of Superhero's version).

Go for it. I think people should use any piece they want. That being said, I wouldn't use him more than a couple times, because I hate playing or playing against any figure all the time. I think everyone here agrees that this would be lame.
I know everyone is saying he is beatable and not broken, and I think I have to add to that.
I played against him last night (and I knew I would be) so I used Annihilus and marvel girl (and others). It took some positioning but I was able to tk/ running shot w/ Annihilus, and KO'ed Cosmic-Spidey in two turns.
So play him, but watch that short dial.

I generally play theme teams. Not many themes to fit Cos on, anyway, and at his point value he is hard to fit on most teams. Coincidentally enough, Annihilus will be on my Cosmic theme team with Cos Spidey this weekend.
Should be much fun.

played him twice so far. once in a sealed and once when Night Nurse LE was up.
in the sealed i went 2-1 and i went 3-0 when Night Nurse was up. however, a guy challenged me again after our match was up, he brought out an Iron Man/War Machine team and was able to beat me. but this game was just for fun and didn't count. so he is beatable with the right team/player.
i think in a 1000 pt tourney go ahead! you'll probably see a lot of him anyway.

I would depending on the prize. But I usually tire of using the same figs all the time, so he might get used maybe 3 to 4 times in a year.
I didn't vote because none of the options fit.
My vote would be 'Occasionally for fun'.
Way too many figures to play, to be playing the same one(s) over and over again.

I would only play him against collosal figures...or to beat annoying lawyer/whinner at my venue
