You missed the ever important Hulk variant :D I'm guessing that the next Hulk will be REV of Smart Hulk in the white wifebeater and Bluejeans. What I'd really like to see is him with an AE base with a Unique Maestro. That would make me one heck of a happy Hulk fan. You could even keep the same color base as the new ones because I'm sure none of the Hulks would really care much for the Leader and Savage hulk would probably try to beat on Smart Hulk just as much as anyone else.

Savage: "You think you funny, dressing like Hulk! HULK SMASH!"

Smart: "Do I really sound like that?"

Maestro: "I should destroy both of you for soiling my name."

If it's spiderman i would love a maximum carnage set.

Not just the two symboites to deal with but tons of little smybiotes, villians like carrion and demogoblin, and a unique hybrid (that third symbiote that has kinda been forgotten)

If not i'm for a marvel darkside set with the darker heros and villians! (nother blade, more vamps, ghostrider, punisher...)

And also about an avengers assemble? sure we have some but we can definatly use more and there are so many avengers that it would basicly anybody but most of the x-men in it.

OK, I think Namor is a certainty, cos I think this set will have a Defenders theme.

That means Silver Surfer ought to be in it...If they can do Firelord, they can do Surfer...

Angel will be in it, possibly twice, as he's the only major missing X Man.

Deadpool and Cable will not be in it, due to RL and copyright garbage.

I have a suspicion we may get Calvin Rankin / The Mimic or possibly his Morph persona from the cartoon...

Valkyrie will be there if they go Defenders...

Drax because of Thanos and Moondragon...

Adam Warlock because of the above...

Pip the Troll because of the above...

a version of Captain Marvel...

and a BigFig of Giant Man.

OK... the first set was infinity challenge/gauntlett/crusade based, and we got NO Silver Surfer...

Clobbering time Expansion and we got again, No silver surfer, and no namor...

Xplosion and we get NO Angel.

So far we have 2 Defenders (3 now with Beast)

When Moondragon appeared she was not a Defender...

I think we could be looking at a Defenders set...

I can see this perfect set that encompasses The Avengers, The Defenders and then some of Marvel's cosmic characters all in one place.

The Avengers are Marvel's only big franchise team (that is represented in Heroclix) that now has not had its own add-on set (the Defenders being a team that is a pretty sorry Franchise). The Avengers can, very easily, mix and match members back and forth with the Defenders, I feel. The Defenders can be somewhat of a catch-all team that could take in bits of the actual Defenders, the Secret Defenders (short lived revolving-door roster that encompassed many of marvel's big and small guns), the supernaturals, the Marvel Knights and others. Also, since the Avengers are such a powerful group, they battle in space a lot, so the set could bring in some space-faring heroes/villains as well.

Yeah, I need a job :-) And I've got about 7 add-on sets worth of figures that I'm drawing up the stats for during boring classes. Also have 12 new abilities and about a dozen new team abilities I'd be happy to donate (or be paid for; heh). What do you know, the Republicans were right; one person CAN do the work of a whole R&D staff...

Excellent list, can only hope something like that s the final product. Of course, Zemo, Fixer, Beetle and Moonstone would make it even better ^_-

I was guranteed that the Rhino from Ultimate Spidey will definately be in this set. I got this info at the envoy party a couple weeks ago. The will definately be NO silver surfer.....So with that info it is a good guess to say it could be a spidey mased set

Yes, there ARE 2 blackouts; this one is entirely different. Long hair, looks like a greasy zombie; powers more or less exactly the same as "The Shroud". Darkness surrounds him wherever he goes, he's strong, he's got sharp claws... I really don't know much about him actually, just thought that, from what I read about him (in Marvel indexes and on Marvel trading cards :-D ) that he'd make a good arch enemy for Ghosty.

My guess is that the next Marvel HeroClix expansion will be called Maximum Carnage. Much like the Xplosion set with the X-Men figs and Clobberin' Time with the Fantastic Four, the MC set will consist of mainly Spider-Man allies and enemies.

As long as there's a Venom R/E/V or U (or Eddie Brock LE, which I'm pretty certain will happen), I'll be able to die a happy man.

Havok in his black/red suit from afew years back would make me so happy. It's the one with the red gauntlets he used to focus his power. I became a big Havok fan during that time and went on to collect all of the Mutant X comics from after he dies. Good stuff. I'd like to see a vampire Storm and vampire hunter Kitty Pryde.

Rhino is needed for a solid brick with charge for the Sindicate.

Angel would ba a good, cheap REV with charge. Arcangel was so different and more powerful that he deserves his own Unique.

As far as your mention of a 'neutralized' Storm, the one coming out, the Experienced version doesn't fly. I'm guessing that this is to represent this time in her carreer. (I haven't seen her stats, so don't know if she has her other powers.) *shrug*

I think the worst error by wizkids is not to include Adam Warlock, absolute protagonist of the infinity saga, in Infinity Challenge set, and hope to see that error repaired in the next expansion.

Only one figure I ask for: ADAM WARLOCK. Hope Adam Warlock will be treated better than Thanos, who IMO is dramatically underpowered.

I still think they'll do a villain-themed set next. Most of the biggest names still missing are either villains, reformed villains, or anti-heroes.

Take Scowlingone's big five:

Silver Surfer - introduced as a villain (herald of Galactus). Reformed quickly. Decided at one point to declare war on the human race. Doesn't always side with the heroes (though he's usually right when he doesn't).

Namor - switched sides regularly for years. Frequently over a very short period of time. Has own agenda very different from the heroes.

Punisher - I call him a villain, some people call him an anti-hero, some people call him a reformed villain. Either way he fits.

Ghost Rider - Anti-Hero, essentially.

Venom - Villain, occasionally depicted as anti-hero.

Not to mention the fact that there are a BUNCH of big name villains still out there - Loki, Dormammu, several X-Villain flavors of the month, Rhino, and a TON of Spidey villains.

First we'll compromise. I'll do a round of generics, but ain't no more duplicate Wolverines/Elektras in my set. It's a pretty fair mix I'd say. If it leans heavily anywhere its in Defenders

(If they must do generics, more aliens would be nice. Plus how can we stage the Kree-Skrull War without any Kree?)

49-51 Black Knight (Rookie MoE, E and/or V Avengers)

61-63 Captain America (the one repeat allowed, and that's for two reasons. 1, he'll be a better gamepiece this time, and 2, so he can be AE with...)

Bone and Adam pretty much picked over my wish list. :)

I would like to toss in for your consideration...Hammerhead and Tombstone for the Spiderman villians. After all, it's only a matter of time before these two thugs are released and why not in a spiderman themed set.

And of course, the wiz kid's favorite lady, Elektra has to have YET another pose. After all...like a sandwich isn't a sandwich without miracle whip...a marvel expansion isn't a marvel expansion without a Elektra it seems<<and only god knows the reason for this>>

Not sure if anyone mentioned Electro or the Lizard yet...<<or the very minor White Rabbit and Humbug :)>>

As for Grim...I agree, after all, we got Madam Masque in this upcoming set...and if my memory serves me right, those two did not get along too well...would make for interesting combat.

How about some Brood for Xmen<<since we're getting a deathbird>> maybe some Alpha Flight <<Wendigo anyone?>> or a couple from Sauron's crew<<Lupo and brainchild>>

I'd be surprised if more than 15 of these models made it into the next set, but I'd be equally surprised if less than 10 did.

Man...these are all good lists. I don't really have a list that detailed, but I'll throw my two cents in because this is an interesting topic and I'm bored right now.

Possible figs you guys have mentioned that would be cool in the next set...

BARON ZEMO: I think you've all expressed this same idea
already--this guy has to be coming soon. Or sooner than later, at the very least. His head is a $*)(#*(# team symbol! On a side note, he's also one of my favorite villains.

On that same line of thinking, with twenty thousand versions of Spidey and Wolvie, etc., I would imagine that a third version of CAPTAIN AMERICA has to be coming sometime soon as well (maybe as an arch-enemy of Zemo or something?). Or is Cap not popular enough? Too far fetched?

SILVER SURFER: He's gotta be on his way, whether as a normal fig, or as a send-a-way (though it sounds like the next mail-in will be Maestro...). Something clearly needs to be done here. Everyone I play with is just waiting to play with this guy. Even if he's horrible--they don't care. Seriously. They frighten me a bit.

ANGEL and/or ARCHANGEL: Like someone else said earlier in this thread, he's the only original missing with Iceman and the Beast in XP.

NAMOR: I want to say he's a lock, but, jeez, whoever decides these things reeeeeeeally doesn't seem to care much about the Defenders, so who knows?

DRAX (The DESTROYER): They seem to be slowly making an unofficial faction of Infinity Watch members (actually, with only two Watch members in three sets, I may be reading a little too much into things here...and by a little, I mean a lot!). If that continues, Drax would kind of be the next logical choice. I could see R/E/V versions of the Destroyer here in the next set (he would probably be like a more powerful version of Doc Samson that flies) with a unique version of ...

ADAM WARLOCK: Another guy with an underappreciated fan following (and how awesome did he look drawn by Tom Raney? Eh? C'mon!). Warlock could also go the R/E/V route, but I would love to see a unique "soul gem" version, with physic blast up the wazoo. Yes, I just wrote "wazoo." That's how strongly I feel about this.

FIRESTAR or MORPH are interesting dark horse picks, in my opinion. Both have a very good chance of being made, I think, because of mass media exposure via their respective cartoons (that sort of stuff can count a loooong way in licensing ventures).

IRON FIST and POWERMAN are other figures I've seen lots (and I do mean lots) of requests for. Powerman would rule as a R/E/V figure just so we could get a Level 4 or Level 5 Luke Cage LE! Who wouldn't want that for winning a tournament, or whatever? Cage rules.

OMEGA RED: He has to be coming soon as well. Just a hugely popular villain that has the potential to be a sweet clix.

VENOM: See above.

PIP The TROLL: He would be sweet, but I think they already made him in XPlosion under the name "ShadowCat."

One character I don't want to see is another "Ant-Man." The one they have now, while extremely scarce, is perfectly made (right down to the "He's so small, you can only see his base" kitsch factor).

My apologies to the 12 Scott Lang fans out there...

1. must have a vertion of spiderman, Hulk, and Wolverine
2.must have at least one major Avenger
3. must have a PC peice
I figured it will be a spiderman ste becouse they seem to be spacing the Avengers out over all the sets and the next spiderman movie is do out in 2004.
