There are 2 groups of White Lanterns:

Sinstro and these guys

The 12 Brightest Day figures

Since we know we are getting Sinestro, Hal, and Ollie; and we are getting 7 of the other 12 in non-white lantern costumes, I highly doubt Max Lord, Hawkman, Hawk, Jade, or Zoom will appear in any of these slots (though I am betting we get them in their non-lantern costumes in the CURSR slots). The idea that we are getting 11 White Lanterns (10 mini-chases and 1 BiBtB figure, the fact that Sinestro is numbered #100 and Ollie is numbered W-10 supports the argument for 11 White Lanterns) adds to the argument that we will get all of the first group of WL's and not just half and half of 2 groups. Also, the second group of WL's were only ever in their WL costumes while having the visions of their "labors", whereas the first group actually did something for the extremely limited time they were Lanterns.

This is why I would be very surprised to get anything the figures I listed.

Max and Hawkman aren't in the Action Pack. Aquaman, Osiris, Hawkwoman, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, Captain Boomerang, and Deadman are.

As sad as it is I'm a big Aquaman fan and I hope that he gets a WL and it would be THE WL that I must have. After him I really want Hal and Barry. BL Barry was simply amazing and is my favorite incarnation of him todate b/c I am also a big time GL fan. DC75 is going to be the most expensive set for me ever as there are just so many clix that I must have.

I voted Flash, Hal, and Green Arrow. Hal and GA are really just because the sculpts look really really awesome, and having a Blue Lantern Flash, it'd be pretty cool to have the WL one as well.

So what did the White Lantern rings give them and how would that translate into Heroclix?

Would it be the opposite of the Black Lanterns and they all have a trait that allows them to heal up when another character (friendly or maybe opposing) heals up? If so that would make them a nice foil to the Black Lanterns.

I'm planning on getting two cases of DC75, so I should end up with 4 or 5 White Lanterns. The only one I'll actively persue, though, is Ice... Although I doubt they'll give her the JLI keyword. Hopefully she'll get a non WL version too, or perhaps an LE non WL, as I can't wait to get a Modern Age Generation Lost JLI team together.

I'm calling that DC75 will have Hawkman, Max Lord, Jade, Hawk, Zoom, and a non White Lantern version of Hal Jordan, Flash, Superboy, Kid Flash, Donna Troy, Green Arrow, Animal Man, and Ice (possibly with another version of Supes without the shield and Wonder Woman without the horse). I speculate that we will also get a Dove, Obsidian, Fire, and possibly Magog.

Anecdotal evidence from someone who attended the weekend event said there was a chance of getting 2. You are guaranteed 1, which is what heroclix.com says, but it might be possible to get 2 in a brick. We will find out in Dec/Jan.

Even though I am a huge GL fan, I chose none of them. These characters appeared as White Lanterns in a grand total of about 4 pages of one comic. Not interested. Especially since the Black Lanterns are all Chases too. The *only* situation I would probably want to play the WLs is against the BLs, and since this will never happen, then consider me uninterested.

This is probably all common knowledge at this point, but jic:

The original 10 (minus Sinestro) were the 10 characters who BL "Batman" spit out the rings for, 8 of which becoming living black lanterns (Hal and Barry outran the rings, and Wonder Woman later had her black ring destroyed by the violet ring). Then, after Sinestro tried to kill Nekron and failed, Hal took the white entity into himself and revived the remaining 7 Black Lanterns, along with Wonder Woman and Flash, and all 10 became White Lanterns and destroyed Nekron (by reviving Black Hand and disconnecting the tie between Black Hand and Death). Upon doing this 12 of the Black Lanterns had life restored to them because they were kinda caught in the wake of Black Hand's resurrection, and that group of 12 are the second group of "White Lanterns" who have currently only worn the costumes in a vision.

Well, since you ask... Chases didn't really bother me until BatB royally screwed us. And then once I finally console myself on that, they pull this on us.

Just make a good product that's exciting (and X-Men is shaping up nicely) and I'll buy it. But pull money grabbing gimmicks like this, I won't play ball.

Had Wizkids announced their no chase policy of WoS before Pre-order cut off date, I may have ordered more than I did.

I went for none. The White Lanterns just don't appeal to me. They are white washed versions of the DC characters offering little to the game. Superman gets TK, psychic blast, and Pulse Wave? Great. Wonder Woman was just represented as a Lantern What's left to do dial wise? It's just a panel gimmick in my eyes. Might make for compelling reading, but clix wise it doesn't bring much to the table.

I'd rather have well sculpted Black Lantern Versions myself. Then at least I could pit them against the regular JLA for a theme game of some sort.

Given the rarity and that I'm not reading the books, I don't have much desire to play them as a team, but if any of them are accurate representations of the characters without strange "White Lantern" powers, I might be interested in them, especially for characters like Superboy who haven't been made in a while. Again, since I'm not reading the books, I have no idea if they'll have a bunch of "White Lantern" powers, but the dials from the Brightest Day set seem to suggest they will.

Anything after that would just be used to trade for one of these three, and I doubt that I will manage to get three of them.
