View Full Version : Mind Control + Masters of Evil
Ok, here's a question...lets say I have 2 figures who both have mind control AND are both members of the Masters of Evil (OR have the Minions of Doom ability, same difference)...Does that mean that BOTH of them get to use mind control (tech. an attack) and take over 2 of my opponents figures (or take over my opponents figure twice and get a push outta it) at the cost of only 1 action???

You can take over the same figure twice, yes. It would take only one player action but each of your attacking figures gets one action token apiece as normal.

But remember both of your team members must be adjacent to the same enemy. Not at range.

One thing Im wondering is when MoE use is declared.
What if you plan to MC a target twice and the first MC has the target move away from the second MC attacker but is in range and LoS still. Could the second MC still take the free attack since the target STARTED adjacent?
If not, then the reverse would be in question. If one MC'er was next to a target and made the target move next to another potential MoE attacker while still adjacent to the first attacker, could the new adjacent MoE character use the MoE ability since the target ENDED next to two MoE?
Hmm, hows that for confusing.

I don't know. I would assume you can use the ability again.
what would happen if someone attacked and knocked back the target, before the other attack. Would he get to attack again even if the target is not adjacent anymore?

You guys have good instincts...
Once adjacency is lost, then those figure that lost adjacency will lose their attack.
This means....
2 MoE are adjacent to an opposing figure.
Declare use of MoE to MC.
The first guy has the MC'd figure move away...
as soon as that happens, the second MoE is no longer adjacent, so he would not be able to use MoE to MC. This figure is not assigned an action because of this.
Does this shorthand make sense?
