View Full Version : What's your guess for the DC75th LE's?
I'm not sure if there has been any topics about this yet an I was wondering what you guys think they will be?
I'm Hoping for more BLACK laterns. I'm a bit surprised an worried that scar is the only one revealed/ speculated thus far. An I was a bit disappointed that that WHITE lanterns are getting so many members when they played so small a part in the comics. not to mention all the ones we will most likely be getting were white lanters for a couple pages. So here's hoping for black lantern LE's. My question is would they be the white lanterns repainted to be black? or would they do what they did in SI an use the starter/action pack figs as repainted black lanterns?

sigh.... I guess it has been huh? but we may still get a couple NON generics like Daken, Venom an Toxin were.... oh wait toxin was generic symbiote.....crap!
They will be black lantern versions of everybody that they are making white lantern versions of.

I'm guessing we're getting a Dr. Hurt in the set, which would make an excellent Thomas Wayne LE. Or vice versa, even.

Generics could only be 1 real guess so far:
Little Sure Shot or other specific member of Easy Company (Easy Company Soldier sculpt)

There ought to be a Common Beast Boy repaint with the TT TA (instead of Outsiders like the Common) at the same point cost and with the same ability to AE into the other animal representations of him in the set (assuming there are more than just the T-Rex).

Well, since they did Little Sure Shot, they could do Ice Cream Soldier or Wildman.
Scar will likely be keyworded for Black Lanterns.
They will be black lantern versions of everybody that they are making white lantern versions of.
I can see that.
Then it appears there will be two Animal Men I'll need to get..
THAT IS if the White Lanterns are who we think they are...

Since I have been gloating happily about the White Lanterns not taking up any of the 60 standard slots, I feel an obligation to balance the scales. I hope there are no lantern LEs. I hope they save any more prospective lantern characters (that are not already part of DC75's main 60) for CURSR slots in the next DC set.

Either regular versions of the White Lanterns who dont get many remakes (Ice, Animal Man, Kid Flash...although that might dilute their SR status
Here is what I would hope for
Steel JLD (Le of Citizen Steel or vice versa)
Guy Gardner (GL)
Solovar (LE of Gorilla)
Ragdoll Sr (LE of Ragdoll Jr)
Rocket Red (from the current JLI arc)

According to the picture that was taken of him, he has dual TT and Outsiders team abilities. Hope that makes you happier. :classic:

I WANT MY BATMAN LANTERN CORPS, their power comes from Pure awesome-Batman goodness. They have saved the multiverse millions of times, but they are just so darn sneaky we don't know. THAT is how bad*** they are...
There's certainly a Yellow Lantern Hal action figure. I think he wore one briefly when all their rings were drained in Sinestro Corps War.
I'd love it if the prize figures were:
Yellow Lantern Hal
Blue Lantern Hal (he did go full Blue Lantern for a few panels)
Orange Lantern Hal (because we need more Orange Lanterns)
Red Lantern Hal
Black Lantern Hal
It'd mean those of us who want them like me would have them and those who don't wouldn't whine that they're taking up valuble set space.

If they made an LE animal for gar to change into (especially if he gets 1 in each rarity), then my new favorite team will be 5 different Beast Boys. Whenever one dies, they rest become more versatile.

I guess the Lantern fans don't seem to mind getting some as LEs. I thought that was going to make them mad.
Since I don't usually get all worked up about LEs, I say just do whatever will soothe the lantern fans. We need to keep them calm and relaxed.

If that happens i would also assume that we get 4 Black Lanterns in set

R.....BL Scar (hence we already knw about this one)

EDIT I could also see getting 5 BL's in the set and get 5 paint variants or those characters as LEs

If the trend of repainting sculpts to do multiple characters continues, I believe we will see a generic guardian, ganthet, sayd, and scar in different rarity levels.

except...I'd like the original Sculps. Solovar would be an easy enough Paint/minor sculpt change which would be COOL
But...Ragdoll I to II Is quite different.

In the crossover with JSA, when they and the JLA were fighting Alan and he was making constructs of his friends and foes alike, there is one of Ragdoll, just recently. I don't have means to scan it in, but it looks radically different than the Humanite's SSoSV version. I believe they had even changed it somewhat in the Starman series, when he kidnapped some kids? But I didn't read that series and it's been awhile, but I do remember him not looking all that cheerful in that story.

I know the Ragdoll's are quite different but i also know Wizkids has had no problem in the past in doing that if they wanted 2 figs to share like Blockbuster, Killer Frost

I'm a pretty big lantern fan and even I hope that DC 75 is not putting more lanterns in the set.
For the LE's I'm not sure who I'd like to see.

Bulldozer (for Easy Company LE)
Guardian (again, a Ganthet, Scar, or Sayd variant...heck I'd take Sayd if she hasn't been confirmed).
Beast Boy (Gorilla form)
Dark Flash (Wally, a possible paint variant if we got a standard Barry in the set).

Speaking of Hal LEs, I wouldn't mind hte blue/green Lantern from the Agent Orange arc as an LE. Only place that cool design and power set would fit, imo. too shortlived and gimmicky for anything else.

Black Lanterns wouldn't be a bad idea. Black Lantern Versions of some of those white lanterns would make for interesting LEs. Deathstorm, maybe even a Scar that is still a GL Guardian wouldn't be bad.
Though seriously, it would be better to have other non-lantern figs as LE. Anything would be better than more Hal Jordan variants...

The only one I could see myself actively seeking out would be the Green/Blue Lantern one, which was the high point in my interest in the War of Light (IIRC, shortly after that they introduced the Orange, and that is where the whole thing started to go south for me).

With Secret Invasion the prize support was the LE Fan4. I speculate we'll see some LE Brightest Day.
