Im making a 300 and 400 x-men modern age team, problem is i can't decide who to pair up with Nightcrawler and Wolverine (Wos) but here are my team ideas:
300 points
Team 1
Nightcrawler 86
Wolverine 105
Emma Frost 107
298
Team 2
Nightcrawler 86
Wolverine 105
Storm(mm) 100
+pogs
291+
Team 3
Nightcrawler 86
Wolverine 105
Bishop(mm) 100
+pogs
291+
as for my 400 pt team i dont know who to mix and match with
Storm 100
Bishop 100
Emma Frost 109
Any suggestions?

If you're dead set on using one of these teams, I would go with the team with Emma Frost on it. She's a Swiss Army knife, but not as much as Storm... Storm has so many things going on that I'm not sure she does any of them really well.
Other people have had great luck with Bishop, I know, but I haven't seen him played that much and never to the same effectiveness as Emma.
However, I would consider a team with a couple more figures on it --
Nightcrawler 86
Wolverine 105
+ X-Force ATA 4
FC Cyclops 50 (I'd use my Astonishing X-Men Cyclops mod (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/5025330450/))
FC Beast 50
Edwin Jarvis 5
Total: 300
Theme team: X-Men, +4 to map choice, 2 theme team PCs
The addition of the lower-point X-Men gives you some options. 1) Better roll bonus for map control. 2) A second theme team PC. 3) Two lower-point figures to use as X-Men "batteries" with the TA to keep your two expensive X-Men on their top clicks. Yes, Logan has his own healing, but opponents know they have to hit him for big damage... if Beast or Cyclops can provide a second healing click per turn, that makes him doubly frustrating. 4) More figures to accept theme team PC tokens, so you aren't losing 1/3 your force for the turn to use PC. 5) More tie-up capability. 5) Excellent mobility, for an all-:m-boot: team. 6) Two very effective 50 point figures, that will be made more effective by the fact that your opponent will be focused on killing Nightcrawler and Wolverine.
At 400 points, I'd probably add Storm, though I might be tempted to add Archangel, just because I like the figure and he's cool. Then you could drop Jarvis and add Lila Cheney as your bystander, which is more effective for tie-ups and more thematic. (Plus I made a mod of Lila (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/2798584800/), so I'd want to use that...)

If you don't have the above stuff, you could always got with:
Nightcrawler
Storm
Bishop w/ Outsmart
** Nevermind I missed that it was modern age.**

I like the idea! but my problem is I might have a hard time clobberin' figs with huge amounts of damage reducers. Emma has PB, Storm has that crazy 5 damage, and bishop could outwit.
and by the way, AWESOME MODS!!!
I like both of those FC figures, but I would still use storm instead. At 400 points I like wolviefan9's team. I think with wolverine to keep healing storm up she can do some damage.

Storm 100
