Hey all,

I was thinking about Wonderman. You know the guy Baron Zemo created back in Avengers #9 to defeat the whole team.
"His fists hit like Thor's hammer!"

Anyway...he never quite lived up to all the hype. He is made of some form of Ionic energy though.

My main points are that only 2 folks I know of ever resisted the Vision's intangible touch.{there have been some super baddies that he could not get his hand into them as well] I think one was Count Nefaria and the other was Wonderman.

WonderMan just gritted his teeth and told the vision to get his hand out of his chest as he clocked the Vision real good.

The other interesting area was when Rogue attacked the Avengers in the annual way back when. She sucked up Thor's strength and many other Avengers, but when she tried to absorb WonderMan...there was no effect at all.

So his Ionic persona gives him a sort of invulnerability that even Thor does not have

any other ideas??

I am a HUGE wonderman fan. is he in xplosion? or are you just putting this out there for the heck of it. Id love to see a r/e/v of wonderman (with the costume he had in his own comic) and a unique of him in energy form would be amazing.

Ok, Wondy is one of my favorite supporting Marvel characters. First off, he's STRONG. I mean stronger than the Hulk (when Hulk's not gaining strength by being angry) and at the very least on par with Juggernaut. Since Impervious is a DC power, don't count on it being on a Wonderman figure, BUT I do say that he should be a very high point figure with multiple clicks of Invulnerability. He BROKE Ultron once by shaking it so hard that it's internal mechanisms busted loose. Wow. Just wow. He can fly, too, so he's gonna be tough to pin down (he should also be given Leap/Climb since he can jump pretty far, too). After Magneto futzed with the Earth's magnetic field, it screwed up his ionic energy and he eventually became able to project it as energy beams, so maybe one version could have a modest ranged attack (maybe 6 or so). He's not a very good fighter, though, since he's not had much real formal training, so his attack should be fairly low. Well, that's all I can think of really. Hopefully if they do Wondy they'll do the Grim Reaper as well and make them arch-enemies.

Hey,

check out my WM conversions at this link:

This is his early day costume in issues 9, 160-170's before the Sefari outfit...and before flying in the Wes coast issues.
This was when I loved WM the most.

For now I am using a V Bane dial...I like him dealing 5 and 4 clix in hth almost the whole way down!!

but I may switch over to a Doomsday dial.
thanks

awsome job on the sculpts man, just my 2 cents....put wonderman on a unique superman base, ( black costume), this is the closest dial ive been able to find that represents wonderman the best.
