I'm building a Monster 500 point theme team for Halloween, and I came to a dilemma. Do I use Eddie Brock's AE to become Venom or Anti-Venom? Do I just use Venom? or Anti-Venom?

Who do you think is better, and why?

Thanks for the input!

If you're curious about the teams, here they are:

Carnage 153
Toxin 57
Symbiote 49 (x5)
Eddie Brock 42
total: 497

or
Carnage 153
Toxin 57
Symbiote 49 (x4)
Venom 87
493

or
Carnage 153
Toxin 57
Symbiote 49 (x4)
Anti-Venom 93
499

I like team 2 best. Venoms TK web (even if it is only option 1) will help out your team as they all have short range.

For me. Send the Symbiotes in to tie-up, and follow through with Venom & Carnage. Anti-Venom is a finesse piece - he needs to be up close to be a real threat, but then his Support is all but wasted. SP Outwit may come in handy, but again he really needs to be up close to use it, and will therefore be attacked. Plus, Symbiotes power keys off Venom, not his Auntie.

Symbiotes SP works with Carnage too, so thats less of a worry for me. I was thinking of Anti-Venom as a secondary attacker, that becomes my support. There is a lot of Regen and Steal Energy on this team, but I was thinking that I might need to heal carnage back to his steal energy (his end dial cant steal energy). I was thinkin Eddie Brock to access anti venoms support.. but then Venom is a good secondary attacker, and TKing other figs next to carnage, and making them have to break away is kinda dirty. Thanks for the input. More is quite welcome

The cool thing about Eddie Brock is that you can choose.

Know both Venom's and Anti-Venom's dials (particularly from where they come in with the AE power), and then, when you get to that point in the game, go with what you need at that time.

Eddie-into-either-Venom-or-Anti-Venom is definitely a finesse decision, and definitely not for someone who doesn't like to gamble...

Go for Venom. His Telekinesis is very useful (and a lot of fun). I like Poison, but Anti-Venom is too fragile and expensive.
