I want to play Morlun in a 300 pt modern age team, but only problem is every team i try to make has an opposite combination of abilities that can counter the team. I want to make a team that has a counter plan for any situation. Like characters with HSS or Lotsa outwit teams. what support should I use?

You can't make a team that can deal with ANY situation. Sorry, but to me, that's the beauty of this game, no matter what you plan for when teambuilding, you aren't going to be able to handle every situation.
Especially not with a 180 point figure in a 300 point Modern Age game.
If your team can do one thing well, there are several things it can't do well. If your team can do three or four things well, there are still probably several things it can't do well.
If your team has a counter to everything, then it probably costs 2000+ points.
That being said, you can plan for some things and try to maximize your advantages while minimizing -- though not countering -- your opponent's.
If you are going to use Morlun, then you have to look at what he brings -- good close-in fighting power and a crazy but very situational move+attack power. What he DOESN'T have are as important as what he does:
No ranged attack
No real move+attack
No STOPP powers
No flight
No other support-style powers
You have to determine, in the last 120 points of your team, what YOU think is most important.
I personally would try to find figures that I liked that had, in this order:
Ranged attack
Perplex
Outwit
Probability Control
Low cost for tying up opponents
Move+attack
Flight
And then other support-type powers
Me, I like theme teams, because I can get a couple Prob Controls and don't need to have a figure completely dedicated to that.
So I would pick an Animal theme team, and I'd add a long-range shooter, a short-ranged shooter, some Prob Control, some Outwit, and a tie-up figure. I'd go with:
Morlun 180
Rocket Raccoon 65
+ GOTG 5
Bug 44
+ GOTG 5
Total: 299
Theme team: Animal +3 to map choice, 1 theme team PC
Will this team do EVERYTHING? No. But should it be able to hold it's own? I think so.

You sure can! Maybe not so easy in Modern, but in Golden you can make a team to deal with anything.
Pieces like Alex Luthor and Kid Zoom work really well on a team that wants to be prepared for anything.
Some good Animals to consider are G'nort, Mister Mind, Noh-Varr, and the Super-Apes.
On the Mystical end, well, that's really got about everything you could ask for.
Whatever you make, though, keeping your head always helps.

Morlun is a little hard to build around in 300, but not impossible.
I would play this for Mystical:
Morlun 180
Dr Alchemy 62
Jason Blood/Alter Ego to Etrigan 44
Joe Chill Pog 6x2 12

Objects: Phone Booth, Vine, Black Lantern
This team has TK, Perplex/Prob, Barrier, two cheap stealth shields, and decent secondary attackers for Morlun.
First turn TK Jason onto the Booth, next turn turn hom into Etrigan and Morlun will have lots of help if he weakens opponts since Etrigan has BLades, Alchemy has Poison, etc.
Staying away from theme, you could get a cheaper TKer like Marvel Girl and fill in with cheap attackers like say Holixay Killer/Ben Reilly.
Or Morlun, Kid Flash, and say Dianna Prince. I wouldnt use Kid Zoom in a 300 Morlun build though.

trio of mysticals, with front loaded pc, which packs barrier too, shapechange for karnilla, late dial pc for her as well... and while the mid-dial enhancement may not be too useful, it COULD give wanda the means to put a hurt on someone if the opportunity arose. room to slap on something like... I dunno, Not so Special, on Karnilla? just thoughts here

I know comic accurate wise he should have a mystical keyword, but I thought they screwed it up?! with that being said, I think i like this team! I just found out about Karnilla's potential Thanks!!!

gah, my bad... error. ERROR! For some reason I thought I saw mystical on my card... and of course, I'm again mistaken. *head-desk* Had Morlun on th brain of late for a halloween game, and Monster I think got mixed in with Mystical as well...
but if you can live without the theme bits, It's still a potentially solid team.
if not... well... time to look at Monsters:
Morlun
LE Venom
Symbiote
299- lacks the pc that the previous team has... the symbiote functions solely as tie-up, with the LE acting in a more clean-up, but better, role... both have the capacity at least to potentially keep themselves alive between regen and steal energy (Reg on the symbiote, SE on Venom- along with the shape-change on him as well)... keep in mind also if you have him and can work this- said venom's special damage power with the 6 range psycic blast and web-marker.
Or we take the animal route... and pair Morlun up with a pair of the Guardians:
Morlun
Bug
Rocket Raccoon
room enough to ATA bug and rocket to the Guardians ATA... making their powers unoutwittable. This would be rather handy esp with the super-senses and the raccoon's pc and outwit mojo...
still think Rocket shoulda had one or two clicks with 3 or 4 damage and a 0 move for when he's using those big heavy weapons he's apparently so goo with... that'd be perfect for groot to haul him around with
Non-theme team, but works well together would be either:
Morlun, Nico Minoru, Skrull Jarvis - 300points
Nico can learn anything, so TK, prob control, perplex/outwit, barrier all work well with Morlun. Jarvis can outwit enemy outwits, keeping Morlun's imperv/invuln safe.
or
Morlun, Nightcrawler, Lightspeed - 291
Morlun with taxis, Nightcrawler to deliver fresh blood, Lightspeed to block LOF to Morlun. Yay for thralls!

I use Morlun together with three Cuckos. Works and is fun to play with.
