Do LE's get a "boost" in terms of stats for the point cost?

As far as I can tell, LEs are priced using the same formula as "regular" figures.

I can't imagine WizKids allowing them to be tourney legal if they weren't.

That said, today's LE Review does mention one oddity where the formula could have yielded two different results for the same points, and they used one of the regular figure and the other for the LE.

I kinda saw that when I wrote it. ;)

To explain a little better, here's my educated guess:

When the designers plugged their numbers into the system, they put in V Thug with Damage 2/1/1/1 and came up with 10 points.

They then went back and tried 2/2/2/1 and came up with ten points again.

At that low a point level, minor fluctuations aren't going to have as big an impact on the final cost.

However, I kinda like the theory about Unique figures getting a break based on their one-on-a-team status. I don't think it's hppening, but it would be interesting.
