Which team is the better?

For my up coming tourny i need to make a 300 pt double base or two character team. So i'm thinking i might go with either
A) Cain Marko FF 155, Enchantress HoT 141 = 296

B)Darkseid CR 210, Per Degaton AA 90 = 300

Team 2 for sure, though really I'd swap Per Degaton for the Chief if you have him. Way better synergies and awesomeness.

Actually, given these options, and the format, Darkseid and Per Deg will probably do pretty well. That's a lot of support and damage wrapped into two relatively hard to hit figures.

Dr. Doom is awesome, but that Wolverine is not as strong as he appears. I have yet to make him work really well, and it doesn't give you much in the way of a TA to copy, which you will want with Doom for sure.

If you have Klarion, Dr. Doom plus Klarion could be pretty nasty. Better even would be to grab the Brightest Day starter and throw Deadman on with Doom. Mystics TA, PB, CR, and you even get a pair that are keyworded for +2 to map roll.

I think a Metron + Nightcrawler team would kick all kinds of butt.

Use the Perplex on Nightcrawler's Attack value or Metron's Attack or Defense value or your opponent's Defense or Range value. Let Nightcrawler grab an opponent and carry them within range and LOS of Metron for some Outwit, followed by a PB or PW attack. Use the Prob. Control liberally and you should pull off a pretty easy win.

Darkseid and Accomplished Perfect Physician, maybe?

Darkseid is your heavy hitter, of course. APP can heal Darkseid when necessary, but when he's not healing Darkseid, he can Incapacitate the enemy.

How about Mystics Doom from Secret Invasion and Alter Ego Diana Prince from Brave and the Bold. She can keep Doom healed while he lays on the damage. If you need some extra damage output then you can AE into Wonder Woman and help Doom maintain a good defense with Wonder Woman's Defend.

I constantly wreck Dr. Strange and Namor with Metron and Impossible Man every time I play test. I love Dr. Strange and the Namor team but it is two easily outwitted. Take away Namors special flight ability and you can out run him with either piece. Dr. Strange is the one to worry about but a four damage PB from metron ruins his day.

LOL, i love it. impossible man is the most annoying figure ever...
