This one can have up to five players.
You are the owner & pilot of a small cargo space ship. Your mission: MAKE MONEY. Whoever makes the most money wins.
You start with 200 Credits (Cr). After a few rounds in which you will be fitting out your ship, you will have a choice of missions--such as:
Deliver a supply of bottled water to the planet Dune. (100 Cr).
Space Pirates: Combat 60%
This job would pay 100 Credits if completed. But the player would have to battle space pirates to complete it. His base chance of success would be 60%. If he fails, the pirates loot his cargo and he makes no money.
The challenge you have to face will be either "Combat" or "Maneuverability." The engineer you will be hiring will give you a bonus in both categories. The weapons pod you will be buying will give you a bonus in Combat, but may give you a penalty in Maneuverability.
To be awarded a job, you must bribe the local Space Pilots Union rep. Each player will post which job they want and how much of a bribe they are willing to pay. If two or more players want the same job, they get into a bidding war over it, posting higher and higher bids until one player concedes.
The games lasts ten rounds (ten jobs AFTER fitting out your ship). Whomever has the most money at the point wins.
TO BEGIN:
You must do two things to prepare your ship for flight. First, you must hire an engineer. Then you must buy a weapons pod.
So, when you sign up, also state which of the following engineers you which to hire and how much you are bidding for his/her/its services. There is no minimum. You can hire someone for 1 Cr. if no one else bids on him.
Each engineer has the percentage chance he/she/it adds to your chance of completing a mission. (The species of the engineer has no game effect--it's just there for fun)
Abner Perry (human) (20%)
Whirchakka (wookie) (12%)
Sprook (sentient plant (10%)
Bob (genetically enhanced and telekinetic Tribble) (8%)
Wanda (Orion slave girl) (6%)
So--post that you want to play. At the same time, bid for the engineer you want to hire. Remember that you start with 200 Cr. and you will still have to buy a weapons pod next round and then bid on which job you want.

Failure = Cargo stolen. No money paid out, plus 100 Cr. to ransom ship/life. (player with less than 100 Cr. is eliminated from game)

I use random.org to generate a number from 1 to 100.
Last game I used that in was the World War II commando game, in which 8 out of 10 commandos were killed.

Base Chance of Success: 60% (Maneuverability)
Failure=time distortion effect corrupts the Booster Spice. No money earned.
Laser Rifles to rebels on Ewok: Pays 600 Cr
Danger: Imperial Star Destroyer in nearby orbit
Base Chance of Success: 45% (combat)
Failure=Delivery aborted--no money earned. 25 Cr. to repair damage to your ship. (If a player doesn't have 25 Cr., he is eliminated from play).
