The Guardtower
3600 Trabue Road
Columbus, OH 43204
(614) 488-4311

Going with second and third Saturdays to avoid conflict with Mid-Ohio Con and Thanksgiving.

Saturday, November 13th- 10:30 AM
200 pts + 200 pts
The Confrontation
Each player brings two 200pt teams.
Team 1 cannot be more than two figures and one of the figures must be a hero (anti-heroes are fine).
Team 2 can have any number of figures, but one of them must be a villain who has fought the hero in the comics.
Your opponent decides which of your teams he wants to play.
The player using Team 2 (or the "Villain Team") gets to pick the map. Both sets of teams get played in a single round.
The teams of the first player get used first.

No point limit on feats (If you want Team 1 to be a 50pt figure with 150pts of feats then you rock that pile of cardboard.)
No BFCs
No Theme Bonuses

Additional scenario rule: The Alter Ego power may be used as a free action if none of the opposing figures can draw a line of fire to the figure using the power.

Ex. teams: Team 1- Feated up Spider-Man and Black Cat / Team 2- Norman Osborn and a bunch of HAMMER agents.

Saturday, November 20th- 10:30 AM
500 pts
All figures on a team must share a non-generic keyword OR be comic-accurate.
An Event Dial will be assigned to each match during the final round.
Normal rules for Feats and Theme Teams
No BFCs

Can't wait for the 500pt match, there's a team that fits the bill that I've wanted to play for a long time

Same here. I hope we get an odd number of players. ;)

one question though about the 200pt teams, I'm confused as to the wording, it seems like I make two teams and my opponent picks one of my teams to play with and I play the other team, then we do the same with his teams. Is that the case or am I playing my hero team vs. his villain team and my villain team against his hero team, I'm kind of confused as to what exactly is going to happen

Sorry for the further clarification..

I build 2 teams. say.. Batman and Villains.

My opponent picks Batman, I play villians.

After that 'round', we put my pieces aside and we play with whatever teams HE has brought? So its 1x "match/fight" for each person's figures.

I dont get to use both sides of my teams, right? If he chooses Batman, after that match, we don't swap 'teams' so i'll be able to play him, right?

This is right.

Right, but your opponents during the next two rounds might choose villains so it behooves you to make your two teams as balanced as possible.

Looks like I can make the 20th after all! Are we just doing event dials for round 3?

Yes, the first two rounds will play like normal (no BFCs though) and then on the final round I will assign an event dial to each game.

seems like a fun format. You get to play a ton of games and a variety of figures.
I would want to be able to play both my teams at some point. Not together I just would like at least one game with each of my teams.

The only part I don't like it the crazy feat ability. I like some feats but I just don't like too much. But I'd be afraid my opponent has something up their sleeve so I might choose the feared up character.

I think I might choose to play LSH Supes with Pajama Batman. Both can see through stealth. And your villian team could be a Supes enemy AND Batman Enemy.

Maybe a Joker and Lex team up somehow? Or just Emporer Joker.
