Looks like he's back in a limited series in February! With the opportunity, the theme, and Wizkids' recent trend of staying on top of comic stories, can Onslaught be assumed for this set?
http://www.newsarama.com/comics/onslaught-unleashed-ramos-teaser-101029.html
I hope so.
Along with Phoenix.
And a Dark Phoenix.
I hope some of the 2 x 2s in future Sets are Giants and not Colossals.
I'd say yes. I very much expect Onslaught to be in Giant Sized X-Men.

I personally never really liked the character, but I think Wizkids would be making an enormous mistake if they didn't include him in the set. The X-Men theme, along with the "Giant-Size" packs, makes it the best possible delivery system they're ever going to have for a character people have wanted to see for a long time.

(shakes 8-ball) "All signs point to Yes"
Never liked Onslaught. One of the worst of 90's X-Men stuff.
But if he's in the Super Boosters, I am happy for his fans.
And if I get one, I'll probably trade him. Just like the Nextwave junk.

My god the art is terrible for that comic.

I fully agree that this would be the perfect opportunity for a giant Onslaught. The 90's were my X-Men heyday, and I loved the story. I used to dislike Ramos' art, but it grew on me. I like the image, but I've been away from Marvel for so long, I can't really recognize most of the characters.
I'd hope so, and here is a dial I made up for him that I'd love to see. I gave him the giant Damage symbol, but he should have the colossal symbol:
#100 LE Onslaught
Team: Power Cosmic
Range: 12 :bolt::bolt::bolt:
Points: 1000
Keywords: Armor, Mutant, Psychic
m-wing-transa-normald-normalg-giant12142051214205111319511131951012195101218510111841011184101118410101941010204KOKOKOKO
:star: Onslaught ignores the Psychic Blast, Exploit Weakness and Mind Control of opposing characters. Onslaught can use the multi-attack ability.
Speed - Xavier with-in: Onslaught can use mind Control, and Phasing/Teleport. When Onslaught uses Mind Control, he takes 1 damage for each 400 points of the successfully hit targets combined point value, instead of each 100 points.
Attack - Stronger than the Juggernaut, power of Magneto: Onslaught can use Super Strength, Psychic Blast and Telekenesis.
Defense - Unstoppable: Onslaught can use Invulnerability. When you turn Onslaught's combat dial as a result of him taking damage, stop turning the dial when Unstoppable appears in the stat slot. This power cannot be countered or ignored.
Damage - I can warp reality: Onslaught can use Probability Control, Outwit and Perplex. When he uses uses Perplex, he can use it normally, or he can modify any combat value (except damage) of a target character by +2 or -2.
I'd geek out over this :speechles
Though, if he is a colossal, he'd end up being more clicks of life for sure.

I'd have to agree with all of this. That said, have some rep.

It's a strong possibility, given the super boosters and such. I for one do not care for the character, but what a great thing it would be for those who do and have been asking for him.

i wanted him for giant size x-men as well, still do, but a friend of my made a good point about onslaught being an "event" and should be a 5x3 multi-dial colossal figure and i tend to agree

While he may have the power to be on a multi-dial colossal base, I'd much rather have him be on a 2x2 base that is more playable in normal games.

I liked him better on Impulse and Wolverine (which is why my wife's Impulse #1 is signed).

Nope one of the Young Allies
His name is Toro

And yeah Onslaught is I am sure a lock
If they do each colossal with a figure wonder if they will throw in a Hyper insane Franklin Richards or X-man

I've never actually run across anyone who actively dislikes Nextwave before. I don't mean to derail the thread, I'm just sort of surprised. It's one of my favorite comics ever.
But I totally agree with you. I say make EVERY character, so everyone can get their favorite super-person made. I will never, ever complain that Heroclix has too many characters to choose from.

Even though he's he's an obscure X-Men character, I wouldn't mind seeing Post either. He'd look pretty cool with all his little computer thingies floating around his body.

hmmmm.... I don`t see him very competitive... It`s a 1K figure that can do 9 dmg max on his best clix. I think you might want to check the 600 point versions of Dr. Manhattan, Foom, etc. You could even look at the Thor`s Chariot for inspiration...

He should be, it's about time! Also since the brick for Giant-Size X-Men will now feature a super brick , which implies making a good amount of colossal figures in the set. As we all have seen, Apocalypse is one of them, (awesome, btw ). So Onslaught should be one of the colossal figures made for the set as well! :) Though he could be hard to get, as he is very powerful, and I can only imagine was his abilities are!

Strange comment that. I like manga art, I hate Humberto Ramos. : - )

The problem with nigh-omnipotent monsters like Onslaught is that they don't really have any defined limits. The way they're written in the early part of the series, they're unstoppable, can do just about anything, and will certainly destroy the world. Then they get defeated when the series comes to an end. That's really it. They aren't generally beaten by any reasonable method, just, "this is where we complete the miniseries"-itis. One of the reasons I hate most of the big crossovers.

I'd like to see him in 3 different power levels as was seen in the series. The weakest being when he was first formed with Magneto's and Prof. X's combined powers. The next when he used Franklin's powers. The next being when used X-Man's Powers.
would make sense. i would think onslaught & dark phoenix would be locks. if not then i'd be disappoint.
The thing I love most about this is the fact that it looks like this Onslaught story arc has nothing to do with the X-Men and looks more to do with the current various Avengers series. As for the set I say put him in. You can't please everyone with what's included and at least he's not been clixed before.

I like his style just like I loved it when Joe Madueira drew books on a regular basis! I will admit some artist's style don't fit certain books like Sam Keith doing Archie, but to each his own. I'd love to see some Spider-Man or X-Men clix in either Ramon or Joe Mad's style. :classic:

Looks real cool.
But last 5 clicks should be Special Power that grants Phasing, Charge and Flurry.
Then the Speed Special power you gave him can be a Trait.
And i hope that the 2 x 2s have 3 different starting lines.
So he could be 600, 800, AND 1000.
