okay so I recently used my morlun it being halloween I decieded I would get into the spirit of it and use him as I hadn't before hand, and I PLACED FIRST making one very happy heroclixer, anyway so any suggestions for morlun teams, theme doesnt't matter that much and my house rule is that the team is themed as long as they share the keywords, regardless of 100-150 point rule.

I want to get Morlun just to play the Monster Squad.

Morlun - Dracula
Groot - Swamp Thing
Frankenstein - duh
Fenris Wolf - Wolfman
Living Monolith - Mummy
-674

Enough room for some feats to round things out.

This right here is stupid in regards to figures like Cosmic Spidey. :p

but no one at my venue really plays cheese, it's also fine because the one time someone showed up with him he got his ### kicked, literally went 0-4 in the tornament because the main I have all heroclix guy at our venue todd decieded to put his good figures out for people to use, cosmic spidy is good but he got his ### kicked by Crisis KC supes.

Morlun
Pip The Troll
Starter Thing
Arkillo
She-Thing

498 Brute theme.

Basically get in their face and get brutal.

Pip is Morlun's taxi, and also their SPs work well together. Arkillo is Thing's taxi and also a ranged attacker. Between Morlun's indomitable and Thing's Ever Lovin' Pal SP, you should not get out-actioned. She-Thing for tie-up and secondary attacks, FF TA so Thing can heal when she gets KOed.

At 400-500pts if someone loses with Spidey they're not playing him correctly. Or the dice just aren't his friends.

Though this was my 1,000pt team:
Morlun/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
The Joker/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
Cassandra Nova/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
WoS Carnage/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
Jackal
WoS Venom/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
Symbiote x4/ Monster Hunter, Inside Info
Lian Harper x5- Trick or Treaters
Violet Lantern

I essentially had a +3 to my attack & +1 to damage. If I attacked a character with the same name I gained an additional +2 attack & +1 Damage. While MCing at a 14 Range I had an additional +2 attack and the target gained a +1 damage.

Even with the Rule of three there really wasn't a way I was attacking without a +3 attack.

Sad to say I ran out of time when I attacked Green Goblin the first round and not my Opponent's Morlun. Second round I mis-counted how many clicks Gentleman Ghost had. And the third round I couldn't roll higher than a 4 except with my Symbiotes.

Does he work in 300? Just curious. Haven't had a chance to use him yet. Not sure he would work well in 300 modern age.

He's a little difficult in 300 due to his cost, especially against OW. But if you can take a click and then use Steal Energy...mid-Dial there's really nowhere your opponent can really go that he can't follow.

I got at the con a few years ago the Freddy and Jason Horrorclix set for $10.

Put Jason on Morlun, Freddy on Carnage....now theyre both Monster Keyword. :D
