I've heard a couple of people mention that there aren't any Clix Points printed on the bottoms of Xplosion boosters. Any truth to this? Can anyone confirm?

Whether it's true or not, why does it matter? From what people on this board have told me, it was part of an offer they were planning that NEVER ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Dunno, I could be wrong...

Originally they made it so you could redeem Clix points for Marlboro cigarettes, but the issue of pre-teen smoking reared its ugly head.

I had heard they were going to be redeemable for Trojans, but the Bush Administration shot it down. Can't have anything like that just GIVEN to our youngsters!

Seriously... did they said the offer DIDN'T happen or that the offer WILL NEVER happen? There is a huge difference.

I heard a rumor that you can redeem your clix points for a Limited Edition version of the Con Artist.

She's basically the same, except they took away her click of Perplex and gave her a click of STD. It basically works like Poison for game-play, but requires a special brand of Support to heal ... I think it's called Penicillin;)

Nice replies, guys...hehe...

I'm not asking because I'm concerned that my pile of useless Clix Points will suffer, I'm asking because that's basically a sign that they DEFINITELY not doing anything with them.

The Xplosion boxes at Megacon did not have Clix points on the bottom. The boxes do have a new and better design though.

Yeah, I heard that they will protect better against tampering, eh? That's a good move.

How much would some blank hanes t-shirts and some iron on transfers REALLY cost them in the longrun? Most "points" things like they used to have on cigarettes, pepsi, some potato chips... you can just redeem them for cheesy clothing with the brand logo. Oh, how many clix points I would part with for a pair of Heroclix socks...
