Will X-men actually be the best group in Xplosion?

I am just wondering your opinions on the fact if you think that the x-men team is actually going to the best team in x-plosion? Their points and powers seem low even for the new amount of perplex.

And if it is the new best group will wolverine become more used or is he long gone?

Xplosion?, yes, the X-men have the best team, if we're only counting Xplosion. I think they have it by sheer numbers. There are several teams that don't even seem to be represented.

If we are talking about the whole series so far, I think the Avengers are still way too strong for any other Marvel Team (using only those who have the team symbol on their base) to compete with. If you use everyone available for both teams, not confined in a 200-300 point game.

I dont' think this set will effect wolverines status really. Weapon X isn't affiliated w/ a team, so you still have the same X-men team wolverine options from before this set.

I think X-plosion will put the X-Men on the same level as the Avengers. The key to winning with an X-men team is team work, you can't have them all engaging different people, in different areas on their own and i think the new additions will boost them up to that level.

Shadowcat and Iceman will become some of the best taxis in the game. First both can take a clix of damage for the figure they are carring. Iceman is a cheap barrier/taxi all in one. Shadowcat has phasing along with a very good defense. Personally I plan on keeping Shadowcat and Prof X connected at the hip when I play X-Men. They also have a lot of Telek. on the team to help move people around without putting a taxi into the combat. And the Rogue/Wolverine combo is still one of the most powerful in the game - possibliy of 9 clix of damage from that combo.

They have serveral perplexing figures, beast and Gambit. Use them to up Nightcrawlers damage to 4 and he do 2 damage to anyone on the board and get away to where he can't be hit back. You want to take on someone like Thor, use them to drop his defense to 15 and have everyone hit him. And most people forget that White Queen has Outwit.

Psylocke will become a very good defending clix, keep her next to a ranged figure to help them do more damage and protect them btb combat. Storm adds another flyer to the team with the ability to do long range damage. They Colossus for extra power up front

The X-Men are going to become one of, if not the best, teams in the game. Also, most of the characters on the X-Men have a very low point value (only vet Colossus is over 100 (at 111)) which allows you to have more figures then other teams which gives them an advantage because of their team ability, which can really help keep them in the game.

I think the Avengers will still be the power team of Heroclix, but the Xmen are definately scarier than before.

Warhulk, I echo your sentiments man. It's almost a statisticle dead heat. But while the avengers got a lock in power, the x men have an ace in the hole. It broils down to brute force versus mind control.
