I actually teach that technique in my Interventions class. "Sandwiching" negative feedback in between two instances of positive feedback. The theory is that the person you're speaking to won't begin the conversation angry and won't leave angry either.

We'll see how well it works on a rabid fanbase now.

thats what that last line is for. use saint walker before any other prob you might have.it's also true that this power, while limited, can be used more than once per turn. i roll lots of 'miss by one' this figure will have a spot of many a team. i look at him as rookie invisible and scarlet with rolled in one.

True, however you can reroll with Saint Walter, then reroll again via PC. you just have to make sure that the first roll you do is with Saint Walker.

After that, they should understand that the Blue Lantern Corps as used in that sentence is in posession of him, so he should be "The Blue Lantern Corps' first member". The apostrophe is missing on the card.

I fail to understand how this happens. Even if I knew nothing about the character, seeing two different names here would raise a red flag. The other is just English.

But glad to see that he isn't going to be an SR, at least, but they can't all be SRs, and I am sure that I will still take enough of a beating on that front.

you can actually see the same phenomenon with every digitally designed character. Compare IM&WM with their image...or any other. The actual figures don't even come out half as good and detailed as their digital images :(

I am a proponent of theme teams coming out to a minimum of 270/360/450/640 etc. Or at least something close to that. 235pts with 30pts in feats leaves you with 35pts in bystanders which isn't that great.

Maybe they should have included a "War of Light" keyword, though I suppose you could ask a judge for it based on the comics. Though that does leave it up to judge's discretion (which isn't always the best).

Nope. The Blue Lanterns are a great help to most people, but the Green Lantern Corps especially. They dramatically increase the power levels of GLC members when they're near while at the same time dramatically decrease the power levels of Sinestro Corps members, because fear has no place where hope abounds. I'm paraprhasing, but that's the basic gist of it from the GL books. :classic:

Yea, I noticed that too. the Brightest Day cards also had the image of the digital sculpt instead of a photo. It looks REAL nice and I sincerely hope that they keep using the technique.

If they ever make a Hal Jordan when he had both the green and blue rings we can see a Hal with the Blue Lantern keyword. That would probably be a theme in 400 point games.

People should like the sculpt considering it's essentially the same one use for Zenhattan with some minor cosmetic changes.

They are in the same pose, but it far from the same sculpt. One big sculpt difference is that Zenhattan has a different leg in from of his other than Walker, and considering that that is the biggest similarity between the poses, it is a huge difference.

It would be like saying that Black Flash has the same pose the Flash from the GL/Flash duo, just because they are running.
This last part was more of a joke, because those 2 do share a sculpt, but it would be more like saying JL Flash and AA Zoom shared a sculpt...

Thinner paint is the answer guys. Saint walkers face would have a much higher level of detail if they didn't glob their paints. I'm getting frustrated with the sloppy jobs we've been getting lately. I need to see a brightest day up close but right now I'm really on the fence about purchasing. I want the figs, but I also want NECA to bring the product back to its peak level of quality. The only way the mini quality will ever return to the Origins/Collateral Damage level is if we make a stink about it.

The DC75th set is shaping up to be cool so far.

My first thought about that team was "but they're all support/secondary attackers", then I realized how their support powers could all compliment each other and (so long as they kept opponents at range) have some damage dealing potential.

Saint Walker looks fun, but fragile. Make sure he's paling around with Hal or some other ranged attacker who'll be the one actually drawing enemy fire.

A Deadshot remake is long overdue, and would be a great piece for both Secret Six and Suicide Squad fans. Fiddler would appeal to Injustice Society fans as well as Secret Six fans, and he makes for another Golden Age character for the set. Lady Vic makes for another Bat-villain (I think she fought Batman in addition to Nightwing), which is always nice. Jeanete and Dwarfstar, while both fairly new to comics, are great for fans of Gail Simone's stories.

I expect that we will see Fiddler and either Deadshot or Jeanette in this set.
