Scorpion MOE?!!!!!

Scorpion is an MOE isnstead of Sinister Syndicate. Can anyone think of a reason why that is?

But I am with your folk. I hope this is an error. I am pretty excited about X-Plosion but if this is not changed, I will cheat and replace Baron Zemo's head with the crossed out spider. If I get nixed by the judges, so be it.

IIRC, the third MoE group led by Doctor Octopus had Scorpion in it, amongst other Spider-Man villains like Shocker and Beetle. Though the Doc doesn't have an MoE fig, weird that.

I guess we just need to realise that the team badges for non-spotlight characters aren't always totally correct. Blizzard was never a MoE, neither was Controller or Kang, but they get the team anyway. I don't recall SHIELD bringing in Swat teams but fair enough.

EDIT: actually, the post above is probably correct, it was Egghead who led the group, not Doc Ock.

Scorps was indeed part of the Masters of Evil. I believe that this was right about the time that Shulkie first joined (or rejoined?) the Avengers. I think Egghead was in charge of the group back then and this was also the time when Pym was put on trial.

Regardless of when it happened Scorps was teamed up with Whirlwind and Tiger Shark among others. So yes the MOE team affiliation is NOT a misprint. ;)

VH is right! (and faster than me to the post). Moonstone was also deputy leader. This was around 222 of the first series.
Don't know what Thunderbolts is talking about, Doc Ock was never MOE.

I remember it too ... Egghead sprung Moonstone, Scorpion, Tiger shark, and Whirlwind from jail to form a MoE group ... only Whirlwind I believe prematurely attacked the Avengers due to his infatuation with Wasp ....

I think that was indeed She-Hulks first outing with that version of Avengers ....

I'm glad they gave him a MoE version ..but he really ought to have a Sinister Syndicate version too ....
