Fantastic Four

According to Avi Arad they plan and hope to cast the FF movie in May and start shooting in July for a 2004 release. Who would you cast as the Fantastic Four, here are my picks

Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic - George Clooney
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman - Ashley Judd or Trish Stratus
Ben Grimm/Thing - Patrick Warburton
Johnny Storm/Human Torch - Seann William Scott

Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic: The only reason I'm not saying George Clooney is because he's already been a comic book superhero in the movies with Batman and Robin. So I'm gonna say Richard Gere or Billy Zane.
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman: No Trish Stratus. She good for in ring stuff, but she doesn't have the right look or acting ability. As weird as it may sound, I think Kate Hudson (I think it was her. The girl from Titanic) could play a fairly decent Sue Storm.
Ben Grimm/Thing: Of course he'd be computer animated as the Thing, but Ben Grimm, I'm going with Vincent D'onofreo (Spelling?). I could even see Vin Diesel if he would bulk up alot. The person playing Ben Grimm has to be able to do the voice of the Thing, so I'm thinking of a big buy with a big voice.
Johnny Storm/Human Torch: Seth Green. The perfect mix of young humor.

for sue storm I'm still sticking by connie neilson from 1 hour photo & the upcoming basic ashley judd would be good but shes tied to catwoman, & as for trish stratus she sure is smokin' hot, but we've all expierianced wrestlers as actors not a pretty sight

sean williams scott would make a goos torch, better for the part than george for reed

for thing david kieth (jack murdock from dd) he's big & gruff, good ben grimm voice, some people have said he's too old, but he'll either be in a big orange rock suit, (which makes me think of brodys question to stan lee in mallrats) or he'll be all cgi'd like the hulk

for val & frank any two little blonde haired kids would due maybe the kid from suart little & the liitle girl from the new family affair

that only leaves the elusive victor von doom he'll only be pictured out of the armour in flash backs as a young man so maybe etan embry for the young man version then whoever for the disfigured adult armoured version, hopefully a powerful james earl jones like voice "reed join me on the dark side & togther. ." bwa sorry about that

Shes untested, she may be a great actress. No one likes it people judge them without giving you a chance to prove youself, Trish may be a great actress.

reed--- this is a toughy but ill go with that guy from CSI (gil grissom) or maybe someone younger like... i dont know :)

Also Patrick Warburton played Puddy on Seinfeld and the Tick (he was also in Big Trouble). Hes not that well known and thought that might hurt him in this discison.

we'll just have to agree to disagree on trish stratus. if it takes place when they were younger then:

gil grissom is a good call for reed
warburton is too dumb looking for ben grimm great for the tick but not for the grouchy brute strolling down yancy street
sean william scott is good for either time period I've been reading ff loyaly since the mid 80's & it seems he hasn't aged a day

I don't want big names, I want people who look like the f4, and can portray the characters well. I want just one movie, where the characters are a dead on target, not just the supporting cast.

This is taken from Yahoo movies... I like the sounds of them, but I don't recall who John Walker is.


Cast Notes: (11/11/02) Talking to MTV recently, screenwriter Doug Petrie revealed that his dream cast would be Charlize Theron as Susan, John C. Reilly as the voice of the Thing, Paul Walker as the Human Torch, and (the relatively unknown) Alexis Denisof (he's got a supporting role on a TV show called "Angel") as Reed Richards. These names are definitely not confirmed as being signed, but they sound like they might indeed be actors whom Fox is actually talking to (ie, they're not A-list superstars who would be too expensive for this project where most of the money will go to the FX).

And actually know that I think of it, the Blacktastic Four should be a movie, it'd be a great spoof on the fantastic four, I'll have to talk to spike lee about it, maybe he'll make it his next JOINT.


Come to think of it, James Earl Jones would sound to dark, make that lawrence fishburne.
