I usually am not someone who starts ranting about comic book writers but geoff jones really makes it hard for me

parallax was a cool villain first with the great concept of a fallen hero (and one of the big heroes)
then he was a great concept with being the fear personified (even if I prefered the original concept)
I also liked when they made Kyle Parallax in the SCW
I was disappointed when hal only became parallax for one issue in BN

but since then Parallax has become a joke, a monstergimmick of the week. I just cannot take him seriously any more

I actually would prefer he were. In my Eyes the Entities are Part of their resepective Corps, so the Ring rules should count for them, too. After BN I could see Barry as a TEMPORARY Host of the Bluebird since he is connected to the Blue Lanterns

Parallax has a bond to the GLs since he was part of their Power Battery so long.

I think Parallax concept lived a lot with his shock effects. I was thinking OH CRAP when I saw parallax appearing in a comic (Zero Hour, Final Night, The Kyle/Hal Time Travel Story, Hal Jordans last will, SCW). but as I said above, when I see him today it is more of meh... especially since it is obvious
Barryllaxwill not be a more permanent host. when he was in Hal or Kyle you just didnt know when or if they really would go back from that. If Parallax was put in another maybe unknown Character you would maybe wonder what will happen.

Then do you remember how he came back in Sinestro Corps War and everyone was like "Oh noes" but then he was killed by one person, Superboy Prime, who wasn't able to take him on solo in crisis? Then do you remember in Blackest Night how he was there for one panel then died?

Still meh. It's not just Johns, really, everyone does it. Got a new bad guy who you want to make scary? Best way to do it is to have him totally wipe out another bad guy who was scary. It's lazy writing, but it's effective, I guess?

You obviously have NO clue about what you are talking about, as Grumpy Goat said, he was being fought by Green Lanterns, Guardians, many members of Justice League, JSA, and Teen Titans, and then Superboy Prime.

But to further this notion, if you knew what you were talking about, you'd realize that after consuming hundreds of Universes his strength grew to unimaginable heights in Crisis on Infinite Earths, while in Sinestro Corps War he was in a severely weakened state.

I'm a fan of the recent theme-y Marvel sets, so I totally wouldn't mind seeing the next DC set be a Lantern-based set. I'm not too big a fan of the comics right now, but it seems like fan-demand is there, a movie tie-in is there, and plenty of unmade characters are there. Honestly I'd rather see a whole GL set than have somewhat short-lived characters like Red Lantern Guy Gardner taking up space in DC75, which is taking on the difficult task of trying to incorporate the entire history of DC Comics. We've gotten Brightest Day and Blackest Night, just straight-up call the set "Green Lantern's Light!" and you'd likely have a winner.

As for Parallax-Flash, the idea is silly and fun, but a normal Barry def needs to be made in Heroclix first.

Though I still really want the next set to be "Shell of Turtle-Boy" and be completely Silver Aged-based. Then we could get out FatFlash.

A DC Cosmic themed set would be fine by me.
Omega Men, Legion Of Super Heroes and Villains, Fourth World (with the 5 Forever People) into it, a bunch of Dominators and other aliens species as generics, some Lanterns into the mix...
Sub-theme would be either horror/mystical (Dr Fate remake, Ian Karkull, Doctor Occult, Arion and his brother...) or Aquaman themed (atlantis generics, some old foes like the Fisherman, The Shark, the Awesome Threesome, DC's Deep Six, Charybdis, etc ...).

I'm not even going to lie. I would love a Puppet Flash. That story is completely bonkers. Yes, he actually gets turned into a puppet in the story. It's not just a cover gimmick.

An Amazing Transformations of barry Allen clix would be awesome too. Each click could be something different!
