Just a little survey to gauge how these Super-Boosters are going to affect your purchases?

Unfortunately for me, the price of the super-booster is out of my range. I will wait and see what singles will be available and then (if the sculpts and dials merit it) get the ones that I want from the secondary market.
In other words, the super-boosters will not affect my purchases.
I didn't see buying singles/CUR as one of the options, so I clicked on "Let's see how the economy is doing next year."

Im gonna try for a case. Super boosters sound cool, but depending on whats actually going to be in them, I may have to revise my order plans.

Case + a few Super Boosters for me. Can't see myself buying too many at that price, though.

A case + 2 Super-Boosters.
For HoT, I bought a case, and was very happy with how that worked out.
WoS I bought a brick, but then bought 11 more boosters and still had a mess of trading to do.
With DC sets, my wants are usually few enough that I can get away with buying a brick and trading. Marvel sets, however, I need more of.
And Super-Boosters have me really pumped, so if I can get 2 more (for a total of 4), I will.

I will probably buy 2 cases plus a few super boosters, but depending on how many different "colossal" figs are released, I may buy more.
If there are a bunch of different figs, I may only buy 1 case. At $25 a super-booster, I'm not going to buy too many too soon.

I buy a case of DC and a brick of Marvel probably won't change now. Although I like the idea. I hope the super boosters sell well. I'm holding for a DC set maybe a parallax redo that really feels like he could reset time to zero.

It's a matter of funding, but I might go for a brick or case.

I'll likely buy singles on online. Haven't seen anything so far that makes me feel like "I gotta have that one!"

It's going to depend on the set list. Ask me after I've sorted through my 4 cases of DC75th and they've actually given us some info on who is in it. I'm excited about the possibilities though.
Its a little early for me to make a call. No dials and few confirmed characters make this an unknown.
I will say since its an X-Men themed set, it already looks like I may invest much.

My plan is to order 1 case and 5 Super Boosters. So price-wise it's basically a case and a half.

Is that what the Super Boosters are going for? $25? I voted in the poll that I’d probably buy some of each booster type individually. But honestly unless the contents of the Super Boosters turn out to be spectacular, I may just stick with the regular boosters and pass on the Supers. Not sure I like the idea. It’s one thing to pay that kind of money for something like the Anti-Monitor set, when you know what you’re getting. If it’s going to be a blind purchase, I’d be a lot warier. But I won’t commit to anything one way or the other until I know what’s in ‘em.

A case is my usual order; for Arkham I got a case and a brick because my disposable income was up a bit and I dug the set. For GSX, I'm planning on a case and at least 1-2 extra Super Boosters, but once we know a bit more about the set and Super Booster content, I could really see going up to 3 or 4 extra Super Boosters.

I gotta see more of the set before I commit to anymore than buying singles of the figs I want. (read: Nextwave) But over the past year I've been drifting out of Marvel and more into DC.
It's all about the character selection for me. If GSXM offers about 1/3 of the set as characters I'm interested in then I'll be getting a brick's worth.
But it's too soon to speculate for me. Still too focused on DC 75.

As of right now, I am thinking two cases. As we get closer to the release and get an understanding as to how all this will work, it may increase or decrease from there. Of course, this may dependent on if I have anyone to play clix with on a regular basis too, since our only playing venue is closing and people here don't seem to want to get together to play unless there is a prize involved. We have had 3 players showing up on and off for the last few months, so....

I typically buy a full set online (I've done so since Arkham Asylum), and as long as someone out there offers that option, that's the way I'm going to go. No sealed product anymore for me.

My plan is for a case and depending on funds some super boosters on top of that. Once Christmas is over, and Ive got the bits from DC 75th I dont pick up in my case let the saving begin :)

I already pre-ordered a brick online and then have another coming from my favorite comic book store. Then hopefully I'll have enough for trade. First things first though, I have to work on DC75 first (also pre-ordered cases). With what I've seen so far from both DC75 and Giant Size X-Men, I'm totally excited and can't wait. I've loved HOT, BATB & WOS and hope it just keeps getting better.
Not certain what a super booster entails off-hand, but I'll probably grab at least one. Otherwise, regular boosters all the way.

I put down 3 bricks, though it's never that sure a thing, and I usually get a little more than three bricks. I always buy a case, plus whatever sealed events I play in. I'm interested in seeing how the super boosters pan out. I'm not terribly excited about more colossal figures, but I've heard it mentioned that some may include "complete teams" (six - seven figure sets, I would guess), and that's an idea I can see great possibilities for.

I've been buying single boosters since the game came back, though I will certainly buy more than a brick's worth over the course of sealed events and random purchases. I'm not sold on the super boosters based on what I've heard about distribution within them. I'm just not happy about a 7 in 8 chance or whatever that I get a colossal that I might never use, even if a special full-team X-Men pack might be the other 1 in 8. I might buy one just for the heck of it, though, so I voted for the mix of boosters + super boosters option.
I am going to do what I have done since my comic shop closed- pick the singles I want from EBAY. That choice wasn't there, but should have been. I know several others who will do that, too.

One brick, plus a couple of additional Super Boosters. Maybe more, depending on what I want.
Most everything else I can pick up on ebay.
I plan on getting a case up front, plus boosters at sealed events, plus as many Super Boosters as I can get up to 6 in addition to the two I will get with my case.
This will be the largest purchase of boosters I have every planned in advance on a single set.
I feel there might be an issue in finding enough Super Boosters to satisfy me, but we'll see. I definitely plan on buying a case plus the bonus Superbooster for starters, and I'll see how many superboosters I can find beyond that....

I am very excited about this set, but haven't decided how much I'm getting yet.
Need a bit more information before I really can decide.

What is more important are the contents of Super Boosters in GSX, and the collation of White Lanterns in DC75th (frequency of White Lantern duplicates per two cases). If certain WLs appear more frequently, players/buyers might be a little reluctant to drop $ on multiple bricks/cases if they aren't the more popular characters or have weaker dial designs.

I might just buy 10 boosters, and then singles to round out the set (and by round out the set I mean "buy any Nextwave figures I don't get in my 10 boosters")

a case n then I'll trade for the pieces that intrest me.
I want to see the blob on a bigger base would be nice, a bigger juggernaught, or an onslaught ....a new deathstrike, new x-men, and rouge with white powers! jubilee as a vampire...
lastly sabertooth and wildchild AoA duo...a must....

2 cases and whatever I play in sealed. I was about to cut down but the super boosters and my assumption on collation are getting the better of me.

I'm beginning to wonder if I misunderstood something. Aren't the Super Boosters taking the place of two standard boosters in a brick - the pic we saw from the retailers' affair a while back was set up that way IIRC - so there will be two Super Boosters packed in as part of each case?
It was on that basis that I was (tentatively) thinking of getting two cases -- which would be 32 standard boosters and four of the Super ones.

Hard to say as we know very little about the super-boosters.
The minimum I will get is a Brick. I am seriously considering getting a case for the first time ever.
If the Super-Boosters contain lots of figures, then I will try and score more of them.
If they are a single colossal and that's it, then they will be less valuable to me. If a whole team is on a single base - then they will be pure junk to me and I won't buy any super-boosters.
If that is the only way to get a Brotherhood of Mutants team - is in a single super-booster with all 7 or so members, then I will be getting them.
Right now its just too early to tell.

A brick will equal 8 boosters and 1 Superbooster.
A case will equal 16 boosters and 2 Superboosters.
Venues are supposedly allowed to order extra Super-Boosters = to the number of cases they order up to a certain limit.
So if a venue orders 10 cases they will have the option of ordering 10 - 20 superboosters with those 10 cases (can't recall if its 2 SB per case or 1). This is in addition to the SB's that are found IN the cases themselves.

Good. All that fits.
I hadn't paid much attention to the case-to-extra-Super Booster availability either, though in my case it was largely because I'm not a fan of over-sized pieces (bases larger than one square) and so figured at least some of the Super Boosters would be of lesser interest to me, save for resale considerations.

'zup bro!?
just wanna ask where could i buy a booster box and send it thru shipment...????
help me please???
thanks
There isn't enough information available to decide. I normally buy one case. Colossals are a colossal waste of space for me. I own two, the Sentinel and the Anti-Monitor and only because I wanted the other stuff that was in their action packs. They're going to have to show me that the super boosters are worthwhile and so far nothing I've heard is good.
plan on doing what I do with each release. Buy a complete set.
just a case if that... i can't imagine getting more on a single set then a case... i don't want all those doubles... whatever else i need i'll go to the secondary market.

My first instinct was to vote for "Let's see how the economy is doing next year!", then I remembered when I made that decision for Hammer of Thor and missed out on the set completely.
I'm back with Web of Spider-Man, and I'm not making the same miskate twice. I'm down for a case for sure.
Planning on my usual 3 cases. That will get me 6 "big boosters" and we'll see where things go from there.
I have a pretty hard core addiction - MUST crack open boosters!!!
Fortunately with no smoking or drinking and no kids to put through college I can feed my addiction without resorting to crime!
(Plus I get a sweet discount at my venue)
depends on what my wallet allows me to

I'll probably just buy a complete set. Buying boosters and bricks just isn't the smart way to collect anymore with the way the rarity of figures has been lately.
I'll do what I usually do, buy boosters for the sealed but other than that I collect most of the figures from marvel sets by dupes my fellow players give me at the venue.
Without knowing much about what's in the set...I'll say 2 Super Boosters (at most) on release day, followed by 2 regular boosters for that weekend's sealed event.
In fact, that pretty much will be it for me, no matter what's in the set. I'm just glad the brick figure is one I won't feel badly about doing without...
If it were The Melter...or Dargo Ktor...or Ploog's Frankenstein...or a remake of Medusa...THEN I'd have a tough decision, But Madrox?...meh.:tired:
