Crater map question

How does is line of fire work in the de-elevated portion of the crater map? I have the new brightest day starter pack and wanted know it work similar to the graveyard map or was it totally different? Does a Clix have to be on the rim of the red terrain to see in or or out of it? I know about objects that are placed in the orange squares on map. Thanks for you help.

It's standard elevated vs non-elevated terrain.

A character must be on the rim of elevated terrain to see (or be seen by) a character in the non-elevated portion of the map.
