The Maffie-Nominated Series Returns!
Mbauers sat at his computer, perusing the Mafia Forum. "The Wire is awesome. Maybe I'll make a mafia game about it!"
He posted the thread, waiting for signups. Hems and haws, excuses, excuses, but he just couldn't get the signups. :disappointed:
"I've got it! Everybody loves Buffy! Let's do an Alternate Buffyverse Mafia! Surely people will signup for THAT!" He posted the thread, with the special bonus of Dbauers signing on as Co-Mod! But alas, not enough signups AGAIN. :cry:
"#### it, I'm going to play some clix."
Mbauers shut the computer off and started walking to his venue. The 12 year-old fat kid had been vanquished, and refused to show his face in MB's venue again, for fear of future embarrassment. "Just some nice, fun clix to pass the time."
As he walked across the threshold into the venue, his heart sank. His secondary nemesis, the Creepy, parents' basement-dwelling weirdo was back, with a fresh batch of "cheese". The other players saw him too, and began to complain about it.
"Nonsense," said Mbauers. "There's no such thing as 'cheese'. I'll show this guy who's boss." :devious:
Heroclix Mafia 2 starts soon! Why haven't you signed up already!

i think i will be a role-consultant, and possibly a co-mod. i wont be participating as a player though.
I'll update signups when I get home. I will give a special object to whoever gets the most signups. So if you convince someone to sign up for the game, have them mention your name in their post in this thread and I'll keep tally. Whoever gets the most (minimum 5) wins a special object in the game.
And did I mention that this series is Maffie Nominated? :p

I think there may be a few too many big games going on at the moment - Birds of prey just started, and All Stars (and a bunch of other stuff) is supposed to start next week.

They are doing well. v5.0 of the store just opened up on busy Grape Rd. It has been crazy (rushed/unexpected move), we haven't even played clix there yet. A bit smaller than the "new" store nearer campus, but much higher profile. Both Casey and Kelly are doing well though.

I wouldn't mind some extended day phases, but I'll go with whatever works best for the majority and/or mod.
Ok, this weekend we'll do 36 hour phases (unless all actions get submitted before that or something).
