I got a pack of three cultists years ago, can't remember who makes them.
Anyway, here's the cult leader from The Brothers of the Yellow Sign, a cult that worships Hastur the Unspeakable. All I need now is a dial, anyone got any ideas for a custom or an existing dial to use?

hehe - looks like a anorak kultist. Nice detailing on the symbols and stuff though can't help but think yellow ain't the most fetching colour..

an old one for all seasons!!

as for a dial most cultist should have awful stats apart from
1. a white power where multiple together can raise a shogoth/ hounds of tindalos or something similiar
2.perplex down opponents but without LOS

I've never seen this before, but the sculpt reminds me of Copplestone Castings.

I'm sorry, but that is just a ridiculous-looking cultist. The reservoir-tip hood and yellow color just makes him look like a banana. I imagine it's hard to conduct a ritual sacrifice when the sacrificee is wetting herself laughing.

pretty cool idea.

i'd like an army of those so Moon Knight, Ghost Rider and Morbius could team up to fight 'em!

and props for bringing up the yellow sign.

Horrorclix needs to come back BTW

I thought at first this fig might have come from a RAFM or Chaosium "Call of Cthulhu" line, but I couldn't find anything proving it. Regardless, excellent paint job, and very nice reference to the HPL mythos. I wish there had been even more figs to support a mythos clix game. Everything but the MiGo were top-notch!

He looks like the kid brother mascot of an AIM agent.

I wish we had more figs like this (Cultists/Minions/Grunts/Acolytes) in Clix.

They're not GW are they? I seem to remember a game called Mordeheim in 99 that had cultists as a huge part of it.

Anyway, as far as dials go... the cult leader himself should have some kinda decent dial due to being someone of influence & knowledge & also in tune with the dark arts typically.I was thinking that for the leader maybe use the Norman Osborne dial w/ the Alter Ego but only use the Green Goblin AE?

Call it like inhuman transformation or something where he gets possessed by a demon...?

You could make a rule where after each turn you roll a D6 & he takes that much damage, y'know, a random thing like if he takes too much damage & passes the AE he's overwhelmed by the dark power inside & dies? That way your enemy never knows (nor do you) when he's going to change into the demon?

Call the cultists acolytes & give them maybe give them R Daken's dial to explain that they are adepts in the dark arts like their leader. The reason they're more powerful is due to the leader being so engrossed in the ritual that he's not up to his full powers.

If you elect to use the cult leader when he's NOT summoning a demon to possess him, maybe look at using Morlun's dial.

Then you could fill in the ranks/points with several Code Blue Officers who are (insert your appropriate city) police who are actually cult members & the bodyguards for the leader. Or they might even be some paramilitary types who are paid by the cult to stand watch over the ceremony. IF you have the points, a Lt. Marcus stone to lead the bodyguards would work well.

In fact, for flavor, why not swap the officers & Stone for some Goliaths from GW's necromunda, or even some of the Cawdor, depending on whether you want the pierced savage look or the zealot pious look.

I had thought of using the Satanist dial, but I wanted one compatible with clix as well, like the figures in the B.P.R.D. set.

Theres been some excellent suggestions here, thanks to you all.
