I bought from this thread, http://hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=288425. I purchased Kalibak and Power Ring. She hasn't been on since 11/22. I bought from her before and everything went fine. Has anyone heard from her? Is everything OK? I needed Kalibak for a scenario this weekend and with everything that happened (see sig) I have no time to get one now.
Anyway, if anyone else bought from her and is still waiting please post here.

Oh no! I am in the middle of a trade with her as we speak. She received my end approx. a month ago and I have yet to receive anything from her. Sent a PM to her about 3 weeks ago and she advised that one of the SR's she was sending to me was broken and that she was trying to replace it before sending it.
I know that she has a history here and I am hoping that it's "one of those crap happens" type of deal
Don't tell me I am out sr's again. ( see Nerdteroetype/Crazy for batgirl)
Hopefully it will all work out.

Situations like are why I never ship first to someone with neutrals and negs like she has, regardless of the number of itrader rating.

Another example of the BS excuses of a bad trader. If she comes through at some point at the very least you need to leave her a neutral even if she is one of these people who "throws in" extra figures that you need to compensate.

If she has a poor reason for taking 3 weeks to do her end then sure you can consider Neutral, but what is this bile about broken pieces and throwing in extras?
Things break, especially clix; trying to replace and offering compensation is the way to go.

Lazy traders often try to get the party they are screwing over in a trade to leave positive feedback by 'bribing' the other person with extra figures, thus avoiding the neutral rating.
This is generally after weeks of excuses like 'my sister had a hystorectomy', 'my internetz isn't working', and 'my dog had an ingrown toenail' *
*one of those 3 I've actually had someone use as an excuse. Let's see if you can guess which one!*

Exactly! There is nothing wrong with trying to compensate someone for an error you made. However, there seems to have been a huge increase in traders who are just plain lazy and ship figures out right away when they feel like it after receiving their end or that somehow alter the deal because they cannot "find" the agrred upon figure or it is "broken." They then throw in a couple of nons that the person has on their wants list to try and avoid a negative or neutral rating. Everyone has an excuse and you know what they say about those. This girl already has multiple neutrals and negatives. It is a safe bet that whatever excuse she tries to use, if she even comes through, is bogus and even if she tries to throw in some extras as a bribe he should still at least leave a neutral.

Considering I needed the figure for a scenario tomorrow a neutral is the best she can get at this point.

My guess is "my sister had a hystorectromy".
My trading on this site has gone way down due alot to the same reasons the OP is describing. I started with getting screwed my Popinjay, and went slowly downhill from there. I still make the occasional trade, but I am very strict in scrutinizing the other persons trade refrences. I hope it works out for you.

I'm the same way. I don't trade as often as I did in the past (most of my trade fodder often gets used as prize support for my venue). When I do make a trade, I'm pretty picky about who I'll trade with.

Can I ask why anyone would trade with someone that has multiple feedback messages saying that she got someone's stuff and then they never heard from her again? Or why the mods let someone do that more than once?

That is because lots of people don't click on other people's itrader rating to see if there are any negatives before agreeing on sending first or simul-sending. They just see this number that is somewhat high and automatically think they are OK. Be warn. There are a couple of people with itrader rating over a hundred that has a few negatives in their record. One or 2 negative I could understand because of law of averages and that crAp happens with the mail. But, 4 or 5 negatives is just a little too much.
Until the forum can show the percent positive next to your itrader number, ALWAYS click on the itrader rating # of the people you are trading with.

Another thing to keep in mind is the amount of time someone spends on the Realms. I'd say someone who spends quite a bit of time here, posts frequently in various forums, and displays a donation bar under their avatar is less likely to rip you off -- even if their iTrader isn't that high.

See now, does that end up leaving people like me who have almost no itrader out in the cold? I mean, until I get deals under my belt I clearly cannot have an exorbitant score & if people are leery about trading w/ me how can I trade?
Or do you just mean people who have negatives in their itrader?

The first post of this thread (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252451) should be your survival guide to trading on the Realms. :classic:

This actually doesn't hurt you at all. When you have a low itrader you will always be sending first so you are actually a great person to trade with. The users that have very high itraders and drag out sending their deals for weeks at a time (which is happening to me right now) are my least favorite to trade with.
I received my shipment that I was waiting on.
Having dealt with Sista in the past (and her delays) I sympathize. Shame ppl hustle through the realms to get that high itrader only to "cash-in" at the end. I hope she doesn't turn out that way.
Considering I needed the figure for a scenario tomorrow a neutral is the best she can get at this point. I'm really tired of the B.S. from dealing with people on this site. Even though I took it out of my sig I mean it when I say, I will not buy or trade anyone on here anymore. If someone wants to buy from me, that's fine. But don't even try trading me for some of my custom dice, because that boat has sailed...
While I don't know what those little red #s in the iTrader feedback block mean to you, they translate to STOP as far as I'm concerned.
But hey, YOU'RE the one who chose to deal with someone with multiple negatives (& a known poor rep)....

i just pm'ed her earlier today and she told me that she was trying to get $$$ to get your figures. i actually have a trade going on with her as well...she claims she has no internet and it's been snowing in cleveland really bad from what i hear.
i'd give it a chance, as much trading as i've done with her, she takes really long sometimes but always pulls through...

she was trying to get $$$ to get your figuresI only bought Kalibak and Power Ring for $6. What money does she need? Either she lied about having the figs in hand or she can't get the $2.50 to ship. Either way I don't believe it. She could of given everyone an update but instead she tried to sell more... Sounds like a ripper to me.

I'm a relatively inexperienced trader, but why would you switch to neutral? I feel like that would be doing the community a disservice. After everything I've read in this thread, I'd want negative feedback applied to this trader to help warn me off from ever trading with this person.
Even if she could come through in the end, I wouldn't consider a trader that sells what they don't have and then takes months to deliver with no communication "neutral".

Agree 100%. Do not change the negative to a neutral if she ends up sending you the figures. Even if she tries to send extra figures as compensation you leave it as a negative. Everything that she is saying is total BS and I would be surprised if you got the figures at this point.

I completely agree with MattMinus and Azrael0626. I also agree with phantalien's stance on sellers with negative iTrader feedback. Since bigbadsistagirl had a neg and three neutrals prior to the OP's situation, she probably shouldn't have even been allowed to sell figs on the Realms and should be made to send first when trading.
My opinion about sellers with a negative iTrader feedback - Yes I know things can happen and everything, but I do not think people who have a negative feedback in their iTrade rating should be allowed to sell on the realms unless they have consent from a mod, or they initially offer to send first.
Contingency Plan

To be honest, I don't think she should be able to sell or trade until she completes the deals that she has already agreed to. Giving more opportunity for "mistakes" doesn't seem like the way to go.
