Whenever Larfleeze is moved, after actions resolve you may move any or all Orange Construct objects an equal amount. Characters adjacent to or in the same square as an Orange Construct object are considered adjacent to Larfleeze for Poison and close combat purposes.
Defense - Orange Lackeys: Whenever Larfleeze would be dealt damage, you may deal up to 3 of the damage to a single adjacent Orange Construct object and then remove it from the map.
Damage - Summon the Orange Lantern Corps: Once during your turn, you may give Larfleeze a free action and place an Orange Construct object on the map within his range and line of fire. If there are already two or more of these objects on the map, this is a power action instead.
...I can't help but hope that GSXM's Multiple Man brick figure will have a similar token/minion-generating ability.
Thoughts?

That'd be pretty cool I suppose. But I'd still like a Multiple Man generic, or some synergy with the old pieces.

Nah, that would cut down on the demand for multiples (pun intended), and subsequently, brick sales.

I agree, and speculated on that in another thread somewhere in here - that they would make a Multiple Man token to print and play...
If I remember right, he was speculated to be the Buy it by the Brick figure, so if they make him so that people only want one or two, it will probably help in the mail-in sense...
Thanks for reading!

Can I just say I called this mechanic for the AA Joker brick fig and asylum inmate pogs back in the day. Seems I was a few years before my time ;)

I think they are doing him as an in store BIBTB. I sort of hope so if they are making him work with other pieces in the set.

The Multiple Man is definitely confirmed as the brick figure, and I'm pretty sure it's been officially confirmed to be an in-store brick figure.

Yes and yes. It has been officially confirmed to be an in-store brick figure.
On the subject of the Larfleeze mechanic... Ten minutes after reading the Larfleeze article, I was waiting to see when this kind of speculation would pop up.
I'm 99% certain that they won't be using a mechanic like this, at least in terms of generating tokens. Tokens work fine for constructs, but Multiple Men are fully functioning individuals. It's not remotely the same thing. And isn't Madrox's power usually triggered when he's hit by something? In game terms, it would make sense that he would split when he takes damage or is the target of an attack. I could see the rules for placing extra Multiple Men be similar to how the construct power works, but I'm sure they'll be generics, and not pogs.

Not quite. His own kenetic energy does it: snap of the fingers, clap of the hands, being punched by a dupe. Has nothin to do with his enemy :)

Not quite. He can do it own his own as you describe, but being hit by an enemy works as well.

Really? I read Peter David's first run on X-Factor, his Madrox mini and up til Civil War in the current run. I never read anything like that. Must be a more recent development?
Doesn't Madrox's suit absorb impacts so that he doesn't split when he doesn't want to? I think that's how it worked in the early days, but I don't recall it being brought up recently.

No,actually, his power worked like that at the beginning and even the very beginning: ;)

It's not retcon or origins issue.I think I remember a drawing from an old comics.

I remember it happening, too, back in the day. He could make dupes if he wanted, but it happened when he got hit, too. Any kinetic force triggers his power.
Yes,that's why he had to wear this suit as Suttkus said:

I liked that costume.Very superheroic if I may say.

Hmm... interesting.
You think you know a guy...
He was also a bit gloomy and all...then X-Factor V2 happened...Havok,Polaris,Wolfsbane and Madrox forgot they had issues with their powers and lives and thought working for the government was very funny so they made jokes all day. They were all Guidoed...
Sorry for being off-topic.

And that's Peter David for ya.

nah, then that would just take up an unnecessary spot in GSX that could go to another character.

Some synergy would be nice with previous Multiple Men, but if that's too weird of a power to word I wouldn't be too upset.
Something like Larfleeze would be nice, where instead of creating them whenever you want, only when Madrox is hit by an attack or when he performs a successful one. Maybe make that a trait? Something like Larfleeze is possible since he can make his own just by snapping his fingers, maybe that could be a power?
All just speculation of course : }

Cant wait for Madrox - I just hope he and his dupes/traits/pogs/whatever make a viable 300 (or 400, I'm not picky!) point team!
I am liking DC 75 more than I thought I would but, as a Marvel guy, I am really excited for GSX! Bring on the colossals!
