My grandma was over the other day and wanted to see some of the process behind 3D modeling, so (of course) I made Static Shock.

I think Static should have made it into DC75 and I'm kind of surprised that he almost never gets requested in threads. For a lot of you he might not seem important, but that cartoon was a big deal (And he's on the Teen Titans now).

That is an amazing digital sculpt and for the record I have voted for and do want to see Static in clix form as well as Amazing Man(Will Everette with All-Star Squadron keyword), Bloodwynd, Icon, Hardware, Xombi, Looker, Vibe, Steel, Commander Steel, Citizen Steel, Power Company and many, many more. :classic:

i think everything looks good but the face... he kinda looks like an old man without wrinkles ... what i mean by that is the face looks way to thin/bony instead of young and full looking.... other than that i think it looks darn good

While I prefer the first season garb; white shirt with lightning bolt, jacket, and sweat pants; This is a fantastic job.

But I cant help but think how his power levels would translate into clix because of how Black Lightning was done.

Oh well, sculpt beats any doubt hands down! Although Virgil does seem way too happy. I wonder if Frida or Daisy are in the same set? :p

Made mine, Havoc with Sportsclix head. The original comic version wore black and a baseball cap. Far right in the picture below. The cartoon inspired ones posted here look much better than mine.

CustomCreator made me an awesome one for my son a while back. I think I ended up putting it on a Lightning Lord dial. He's probably still have a picture of it out here somewhere.

Pretty cool stuff! I used Lightning Lad's dial when I did my mod, but I wasn't totally satisfied with any dial that exists in HeroClix. He's probably my favorite mod I've done. Would be nice to see an official dial for him, though.

I like the sculpt and position but the electricity looks like spikey water. i'm not hating the work is phenomenal but the flying sparks don't do the scupt you created justice.

I actually did half-### the lightning, so I totally agree with you. The thing is, when these things get printed at 1.5 inches tall, the only thing that makes lightning look like lightning is being clear, so I didn't want to invest time working on it.
