i know this is a dorky subject, and i'm not even sure if i spelled heman right, and afterall he is the master of the universe and all, but somehow my buddies got into an argument about who could kick heman's @ss. i seem to think alot of characters. thor, superman, etc. not that i care much, but rather than thinking i'm wrong i want some backup proof of others thoughts and i'm gonna show them this...so just who could kick heman's butt!??

Superman definitely could. He has a ranged attack with heat vision, and moves at super speed.
In 'Clix terms, He-Man would have at most perhaps Leap/Climb or Charge, Either B/C/F or Super Strength, Invulnerable/Impervious/Toughness, and maybe CCE instead of B/C/F. He would probably also start in Prince Adam mode therefore...
Colossus is the He-Man of HeroClix. Any single fig that could beat a Vet. C-loss could beat He-Man, hands down.
He-Man is supposed to be the strongest man in the universe, so in pure hand to hand, I'll say he can take anybody, anyday. BUT, guys like Supes, Thor and the like have other powers, so they'll probably pull through in the end.

I have to agree, assuming He-Man is the strongest man in the universe, that makes him stronger than Superman, but he has not heat vision or super speed, or flight. And even with Battle cat and Zoar, I still think superman would win.
Now, the hulk... hmmm, maybe the power sword could put a hurting on the hulk, but somehow, my vote goes to the Hulk, because he's just cooler overall.
I think Thor would be an even match, and at some point in the battle, if Stan the man were writing it, they'd come to respect each other, and then become allies when they realized they are both "Good".
How do you think skeletor would hold up? Say, vs Dr. Strange to start off (they're both sorcerers)

He-Man is the strongest man in the universe, but Superman is not a man, and Thor is the son of Odin and also not a man. So it's debatable whether he could beat either of them, but to his credit, his sword has some magical properties to it and Superman is weak against magical things. However it would be interesting to see Thor's magical hammer interrupt the magical lighting that turns Adam into He-Man.

Maybe He-Man vs. Earth's Mightiest Mortal, Captain Marvel? That might be a good fight.
Good point that Superman would be vulnerable to He-Man's magic sword.
In straight hand to hand, He-Man might be the better fighter than Supes, but in a no holds barred match, I still go with Heat Vision and Super Speed vs. the Magic Sword.

Guys. He-Man is the strongest man-- in HIS universe. Heroclix is comprised of the MARVEL and DC and INDY universes. NOT the same as He-Man's universe. Superman's the strongest man in HIS universe. Goku is the strongest man in HIS universe. But put them in some OTHER universe, and they MIGHT lose that status. In MY superhero universe, Wind Ryder is the strongest, but he wouldn't stand a CHANCE against Supes, just because of how FAST supes can move. He'd know the blows were coming, exactly where from, at exactly what speed and with exactly what power... but he couldn't dodge fast enough. Supes would wipe the floor with WR... AND He-Man.
(And by the way, Goku would probably kick ALL their rears.)

I think there was a comic in the 1980's in which Superman and He-man fought each other (Skeletor put Superman under some spell or something?), and He-Man did win. I think Supes was powered down or something though. Anyone else see that comic?

No clue about that issue.
But He-Man has an incredibly varied power level, at least the he-Man I remember from growing up. One week, he grunts and strains to toss a five ton boulder. The next, he tosses a derelict spaceship into orbit with barely any effort at all. So i guess his dial would be completely random, eh? ^_^
that comic does exist. I've seen it's picture in both Toyfare and Wizard. However, that's as close as I've ever come to reading it. On the cover both Superman and He-Man are very upset that Skeletor is making them fight.
Supes, Thor, Hulk... they'd probably all take out He-Man one on one. The only chance He-Man would have would be in reflecting Supes or Thor's projectiles back at them (Since that's the only real magic that He-Man's sword does in battle), forcing them to come closer for a smackdown. Hulk would just smash the #### out of He-Man. I think He-Man with Battle-Cat would stand a chance against the Hulk tho.
But of course, in the end it just depends on whose comic they're fighting in.

Again, mixing universes, pretty much anybody could beat He-Man, i own, and have watched all 130 He-Man episodes (not the New He-Man). He's only the most POWERFUL man in his universe, powerful meaning strength-wise, asides from that he's an ordinarly man. I've seen him knocked out by fire, ice, various gases etc. Unless it comes down to pure muscle, he aint that tough, so yeah, you'd have to pit him against someone like the Hulk or Thing, where muscle is their only offense.
Just my thoughts:D
