Have you ever tried to play a 100pt game with a figure that only has 3 clicks of health? Well, that's pretty much what you do when you bring a 300pt Oversized Figure (OF) into a game. You run out there and hammer one or two figures for a few clicks, then wait for the retaliation. One person RCEs you for 3 and now your OF is at 200pts. Whoops! Here's comes the BFC and it's another 3! Now you're got a 100pt OF trying to hold his own against a 300pt army. Well, about this time the match starts to suck...
So it's time to rethink your strategy on using oversized figures. With 300pt you can build a formidable army by using support characters. For instance, take two 100pt OFs and put the R Invisible Girl behind them. You just made it hard for your competitors. But don't stop there, make it even harder by adding the R Destiny (from Xplosion) to modify the rolls, and add more bite to your attacks with a R Psylocke (from Xplosion). You'll find your OF figures will be a lot more of a menace when you set them up this way.
