View Full Version : Now I'm more confused about RCE?
Did anyone read the WizKids article on how to play with/against Firelord?
The author keeps referring to the Shield Team Ability as Shield Pump. I am guessing this means +1 to damage.
On his team he has a Hydra Medic, Vet Bullseye, & Vet Doombot. He Taxis a Vet Bullseye with a Vet doombot. The Vet Doombot uses the Shield Pump. I thought RCE did not work with any other super ability. Am I missing something?

Yep you are.
RCE does not work with any other super power.
Team abilities other then Superman enemy are not powers.

RCE does not work with any other super power. Team abilities are not considered super powers.

You can use a shield team ability but cost as one of your turn allotments. So if u are playing a 200 pt team and the shield member is next to firelored give the shield member and firlord a action token and no oneelse can move. the shield will get a token is the fire lord hits or misses.
See. I learn something new every day. A Team Ability is not a Super Power. Good news.
You also mentioned that a Shield Team Ability holder gets an action token if the Shield Team ability is used. What if the Exp Firelord (with no Actions) attempts to RCE a Vet Thug. Before the Firelord decides to hit the Thug he wants to wait for the Vet Shield Medic to move next to him so that he can use the Medic's Shield Pump. The Medic moves next to the Firelord. The Medic now has an action token. Can the Firelord use the Shield Pump & will the Medic take a click of damage for pushing. My thinking is that the Medic has already used his action for the round & must wait another round before giving Firelord +1 Damage. Am I right?
In addition, if the Medic already had 2 action tokens then he could not give a +1 Damage bonus to anyone until he had the allowable actions. Am I right?

Nope this action token is from giving Firelord a +1 dam. Has to be before Firelord rolls. SO since you moved you cant give Firelord a +1. It is its own action.
