Ranged combat expert query, please assist.

OK, I know everyones gone over this to death, but, the RCE rule states that you can't use RCE if the stats are changed, but it also states that team abilites are OK to use with it, but the example they always give is the SHEILD team ability. My question is this, can I use the Hydra team ability to up my exp. Klaws attack on his RCE attacks since he has the Minions of Doom team ability. It changes his stats so it should be no, but its a team ability so I'm just not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

RCE says you cant use any power with RCE. Hydra ability is not a power. No where does it say you cant change his stats. Just cant use a power with RCE.
