What is your opinion on a re-release of IC?

I personally am all for it. I like the way the JonL designs the game. It makes it a thinking mans game, and makes it (IMO) fun.

There would be a ton of reasons to do this for example:

Equalizing the stats in relation to CT and X-plosion (let's abbreviate that to XP)

Redesigning characters that were previously poorly designed i.e. Prof. X the worlds most powerful telepath, who is now usurped by White Queen and Unique Electra (XP) brrrr.....

Any opinions?

I don't really think Prof. X is the one who needs improving

Jean Grey is awful they should have made her have a better attack

I know the agument is that she is not very good when fighting, so give her a 0 damage and then give her a ten attack with telekinesis

Well, in any case, whether they change the figures or not, I expect at LEAST an 'Unlimited' or new 'Main Set' to be released by the end '04. Giving IC the chance to fade out.

Mage Knight released an Unlimited, but I don't know how long exactly it was before it's release.

If anyone has any exact numbers on such things, I'm sure we'd all like to know.

first off..
I've been playing Mageknight since the beginning (2 months later or something aboot there).

Unlimited is worthless except for the new uniques !

So my advice is just remake the few figs that are underpowered as uniques in new sets (instead of the Wolverine,Spiderman,Hulk,Elektra), because not all figs from IC where bad !!

a new base set just won't sell good enough !

Honestly they really shouldn't redo Heroclix's Infinity Challenge set. Sure Firelord kicks butt, but he loses that AV fast, and he has no toughness or invulnerability.

i am for a re-release even if all they change is their bases. i've already snapped a couple of quicksilvers and blades off their bases, and bent a juggernaut here and there...

if they do a re-release, expect all the main characters to be nerf'd. no more high def's and attacks. and probably a mix of new powers to make thanos et all playable.
