Tonight I had a friendly 300pt game, in which I destroyed my opponent in back to back games.

My Team:
V. Firelord
V. Steel
V. Human torch
R. Vulture
R. Booster Gold
R. Shield Medic

My Opponent:
E. Ultron
E. Doombot
E. Doc Octopus
V. Shield Medic
E. Intergang Medic
E. Aim Medic
V. Vulture

Basicly, my tactic was to use Booster Gold as Firelord's taxi, Vulture as Human Torch's Taxi, and Steel as the lone wolf. My opponent loves, Energy Explosion, so he kept his army very close together and stayed as far away as possible from my team.

Team Firelord Split into three teams (as mentioned above), and proceeded to take out his Doombot, and Medics. Team Firelord would zip in and out (with the help of their Taxi's), and push when needed and healed after his Medics were toast. The result was a lonely Ultron taking a beating from a freshly healed Firelord, and Steel.

My opinion of Team Firelord, is that they rule. What do you think about my team? How would you take them down? Any replies would be appreciated.

Well My friend uses V Firelord w/ Vulture and basically what I do is take out Vulture w/ someone like V-Bullseye, then Tie Up Firelord w/ someone like U-Spiral or V-She-hulk... Hopefully he gets hit twice for pretty big damage by Spiral then She hulk nails him and tries to finish it off... The key is just snipin' out your medics.. Then Firelord is as useless as a Rookie thug

I must agree that V. Bullseye is a key factor in taking out Firelord, however, a R. Thug he is not. I have found that by using Firelord to take out the opponents Taxi's is critical on keeping Firelord alive. Rookie Booster Gold is Great (his first move is 10) which usually gets him in Range of a Taxi. Most Taxi's are cheap (usually about 5 to 6 click before they're toast) and Firelord is the dude to do it. I also use him to take out my opponents Medics, which rarely withstands his 5 damage.

If V. Bullseye was my oppoent for this team, I would have V. Steel take him on. Even if Steel gets hit, his CCE would kick in and would womp Bullseye at Close range.

Thanks for your reply.

yeah anyone w/ CCE will own Bullseye BUT... if you don't use Flyers persay...and you use V-Magneto and V-Jean Grey for TKing... and you keep them in the backfield, it's a lot harder to take them out w/o making a move towards them.... Not to mention, you bring someone back they can get healed by Jean and then TK'd back out w/ Mags.

Someone w/ 4 clix of damage at the opening is very important to take out Firelord... If you can hit him early w/ V-Mags, V-She-Hulk or V-thor just to name a few... You can get him weak enough to wear even your medics can get shots in. The key in beating firelord is taking him out quick, maybe pass a turn somewhere to open up ALL your attacks to him. Another way (which takes longer) is to just simply swarm the medics and take them out from range w/ guys like Bullseye.

Firelord isn't as intimidating when he has no medics, and he's running for his life.

Danos: are you serious? Your team is pure cheese. Wow, a Firelord yo-yo team. How original.
