x-men vs. avengers round 4... w/ the Xplosion guys?

i don't know. seems to me the x-men got a lot more help, and iron man's attack value's a bit low for his points... but the no team affiliated paramedic could help out the avengers a bit -- if you guys allow that...

I was really hoping for an avenger version of Beast as well, but got Defenders instead.

Oh well. Iron man is still cool though.

X-men definately got the taxi area covered. Storm, Phoenix, Iceman, Shadowcat........

All of them affordable as well.

Then they got the Brick in Colossus, Perplex in Gambit and Beast, Leadership in Storm, and highest range in the game with Phoenix.

I think Kai has more options available to him, while Talon simply gets an Iron man to mix with his avengers team.

Another High costed avenger for Talon to wrack his brain trying to incorporate into a team, While Kaizot has a slew of more X-men at around 85 points, and they finally have a guy over 100 points in Vet Colossus, who weighs in at 111 points.

Still looking forward to round 4 though.

My, the X-Men sure got a boost!!! All my complaints of range and lack of taxis are not gone. uterly. And a brick worthy to wear the X-Men T-Shirt!

Yes, I think that the X-Men now have some versatility to make them a premier team. The Avengers (already a premier team) got the short end of the... expansion. I think I like the Iron man fig, but it certainly doesn't give the team many more options.

As for a re-match... I'm always willing to defend the honor of the X-Men!!!

and wanted to test them out, so Talon made a team of Titans. We are still in the process of story writing and map setup, but will probably start soon.

That and, as you pointed out lurkmaster, the X-Men should own the Avengers after this last set!

pretty cool mods... how did you come up with the point costs for the stats you put?

well, i don't know alpha flight or the titans as well as the x-men or avengers, but it's nothing a little research on the web can't fix... ;)

but you know we're always up for the round 4, whenever that may be...

I used retardog's formula that has been floating around this board...

I figured that Alpha Flight would be some of the last figures to come out in Heroclix, so I decided to make them myself. I was also going to make an Angel figure, but thought there might be one in X-Plosion.... oh well, I guess I can do the mod now.

X-men and Avengers round four will happen, but after this next one we are going to do. I was ready to go with a slightly different concept for a change, before returning to the Avengers. I have some ideas on how to tweak the avengers team and correct a few things I was doing. I will be initiating the post for the next fight probably in the morning, and then it will be on.
