Taskmaster to Deadpool mod

I was looking and R or V Taskmaster would be a perfect Deadpool dail. At least to me that's how I would make Deapools dail to look.

Taskmaster does look good except that Deadpool should have, above all else, Regeneration. I think I saw him grow an entire arm back at one point.

After reading Agent X #8 and feeling betrayed by Marvel AGAIN, I can say that Agent X won't make it to Heroclix unless Marvel gets rid of the losers who just took over the comic and have NO FREAKIN' CLUE about what the character ought to be like.

Dang right I'm bitter. I've stuck with DP since before The Circle Chase, and I've stayed with it through all the #### writing that plagued it from about issues 25-50, only to see him get killed, turned into Agent X, and then see that comic turn to #### just when I was really starting to enjoy it.

Sorry to rant, but why can't we get Ultimate Deadpool, since the only way somebody at Marvel will pay adequate attention to just about any non-Spidey character anymore is to slap the word "Ultimate" in front of it...

Sadly #8 is possibly the beginning of the end for Agent X. Buddy Scalera(sp?) wrote Deadpool(somewhere in the 25-50 range I think :rolleyes: ) and from what I've heard he wrote Agent X EXACTLY the same way as he wrote Deadpool. There was just so much wrong with this issue that I'm questioning picking up #9, although I'm still picking up 10 and 11 because Evan Dorkin, of Milk and Cheese fame, is suppoes to take over then and I've heard nothing but good things about him.

ya.. ive been w/ the merc w/ a mouth b4 circle chase too... shame to see him get converted to AX.. then c that get cancelled too!! they better give some kinda conclusion to Deadpool in that last issue...

on the topic of Tasky to be Deadpool's dial.... he's got everything.. but as someone's mentioned.. no regen.. which is kinda charactersitic of him.. well.. at least it's what most ppl remember him for in general...

ive always thought of putting Deadpool on a unique Wolverine dial... it gives regen.. respectable attack values.. etc... no team also.. everything fits! cept wolvie has no range :( but maybe that'll be my "close combat deadpool"...

Agent X is going to be canceled after issue 12 I've heard. This makes me angry. It's been my avorite comic for almost a year now. I was pissed off at first because they were ending Deadpool and changing it to Agent X, but Gail Simone and the talented folks at UDON managed to make it EVEN BETTER. Now that they've announced the end of Agent X, I'm hoping for a relaunch of the title again. Maybe Agency-X with Hayden, Sandi, Outlaw and Taskmaster. So everyone who cars, please write Marvel and plead for the life of Marvels greatest comedic comic.

God I was hoping soooo badly for a Deadpool Clix, and was severely dissappointed to see just about every other DP supporting cast member (Typhoid, TM, Constrictor, Titania, etc..) turned into a clix, and not the Merc himself. I'm taking this whole "Agent X" thing in stride, assuming that the Buddy Scalera thing is a 'fill in', not a permanent position. Well, here's hoping for the next set.....

cept in ish 2... when tasky got beat in his old costume :)

ive been hopin for a Deadpool clix since the first set.. when i first heard of heroclix.. i checked the infinity challenge list.. but no DP.. then i just hoped for the 2nd set... then all that AgentX stuff happened.. not good. :(

o well.. i have my own DP clix made here!!

I too am a huge fan of Deadpool, and was sorry to see it change to Agent X, though I did enjoy Agent X...... well at least Gail's Agent X. Nothing beats the early Deadpool though. I thought both limited series were extremely funny, along with the first 25 or so issues of his regular series. I mean what could be more funny then Deadpool kicking a mind conrtolled Captian America in the family jewels.... I almost pissed myself.

For the heroclix Deadpool though, I think V Taskmaster would be the best except I think Deadpool should have a couple cliks of RCE and obviously he needs Regen. I'm not a big fan of giving Deadpool stealth. I mean MAYBE one clik of stealth, but he really should just have phasing and then possibly running shot or charge for clik or two, then back to phasing. Just my opinion though.

Ok... someone catch me up. I was an avid Deadpool reader had to stop due to finances. Whats the story with Deadpool losing the costume and changing his name to Agent X?

It had to do with a lawsuit, I think by Rob Liefeld (punk!) who sued over the use of Deadpool, X-Force, Cable and a few others being his creations and wanting a royalty split of some kind. In response Marvel killed all the titles, then resurrected all the characters with new identities. Deadpool became Agent X, Cable became Soldier X, and I forget what they did with X-Force - I think they're XStatix or something.

Is that what happenned? I really didn't know, I just assumed they were 'shaking things up', but I guess that does make sense. God I hate that Liefeld guy, he's like, one of the worst artists I've ever seen in a comic. Although, he did give us DP in the first place, so I guess we do owe him that one. (grrr!)

stealth works for Deadpool.. in his early days at least.. like his 1st 2 mini series... he'd sneak around.. hiding in shadows... BEFORE comin out gunz blazing, swords slashing.. and making a ruckus :)

id give his experienced version the phasing... kinda like midway thru his own series... used his teleporter a lot... id give it at the very beginning... maybe even a click of shape change.. for his image inducer.. but he only used that a couple times.. and it's such a bad power :)

his vet one would have runnin shot for a while.. maybe charge somewhere...

not sure about the liefeld thing.. gail's told people that liefeld isn't really the reason.. the royalty fees aren't anything.. and it's supposedly some other reason...

Y'know, I've never taken apart a 'clix before, but couldn't you use the number part of a wolverine dial, and on top put a character with like, an 8 of range? Although I guess that wouldn't be a Tourney legal Clix, would it? Oh well

I have made my own DeadPool clixk and it looks really good! I will put it on a web page later...What I wanted to say is that with a little change Wolverine is currently the best base for a DeadPool click.

Also, Taskmaster Vet. has perplex, which might fit because Deadpool talks really CRAZY while he is kickin butt!

On my Deadpool mod, I used the Vet Sabretooth dial. It's already got regen and bcf. I just added some running shot and RCE to match DP's abilities. Oddly, I'd put a 75 point cost on him, LONG before Vet Tasky came out with the same cost!
