Looking for KC GL Team Builds

I just got my KC GL recently and Have a nice 300 pt team consisting of
- Green Lantern
- Oracle
- ICWO
- JJJ

going with a politician theme of course.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on 300/400/500 pt builds and how you run them. I got my blue lantern ready ;)

I suggest looking at Sidekick to be all kinds of annoying.

Well I ran him on a Double barrier style team and it worked wonders!

KC GL (225)
Rookie Pyro x2 (54[27 each])
Vet Scourge (21)

300 points, no theme. Keep scourge with Pyro(s) so you can have a decent attacker to keep them safe since the opponent will most likely go after the pyros (pyri?) first. Or you can use 2 Rookie Avalanche at 19 points each for cheaper barrier options. This would give you 37 points to work with and not 21 - maybe AA The Question for outwit or perplex. Keep her near the Avalanches for a decent attacker to help out. Plus, Avalanches have Brotherhood TA for free movement.

Here is an option or two for 400 points that I like as well.

BB Kid Zoom (87)
396 points, almost Future theme

Basically you have KZ nerf HSS and you HSS with Bart since his SP doesn't name HSS even thought that is what he is doing. GL does his thing while you have a couple guys HSSing around the map kicking butt and taking games!

385 points, almost Future theme - again

This time you have a few rangers, outwit, perplex, pc, and a great tie up/wildcard in Karate Kid! Seems pretty easy to play, no explanation really needed.

For 500 points I haven't run him except for twice with these teams because I thought it would be fun. It was interesting to say the least and both times I lost but only barely. GL was the last to die and both times there was only one figure left on my opponents team and they were damaged pretty good at that point. I don't suggest it if you are going for a competitive game but for fun - go for it!

CM Hepzibah Rookie (19) - B/C/F and SS: great tie up and dealt 5 damage for me once and succeeded in the SS roll a few times too!
500 points, no theme

SN Mockingbird Rookie (19) - L/C to an opponent, 18 D with Combat Reflexes, 1 Damage but has CCE, and the Shield TA for GL to use. Survived a little with the 18 D but and hit for 3 a couple times with lucky rolls since the AV is only 8

Have fun with your new GL, he is a ton of fun to play. As a side note, I like your team but I think it is lacking since the support pieces aren't gonna do much for you when they swarm GL. The idea is there, just needs to be refined!

I thoroughly enjoy this idea for a 400 pt team. I will continue to rock my My politicians for 300 pt scenarios though. All i could think of was to play Carol Ferris in place of JJJ. Thanks for the suggestion!:cool:

Well my 500 team has been figured out thanks to my fiance's early x-mas gift of Hypertime/KC Superman, but as for the swarms. I'm hoping to take advatage of the KC team ability; and if they do base I'm hoping to just TK the most threatening based figure away.

I did that lasat time I played him. I played KC GL, Vet Obsidian (Sidekicked to GL), and Rookie Jade.
