Once Long ago a man dared to ask the hard questions. He dared to dream the impossible dream. And he gave you the power. Put down your cups and put your desires to pen. Than man was Stellarx and for many a year he ran the Marvel and DC People's Choice Polls. But as many good things it came to and end. But just as Wizkids has risen from the ashes under new management so shall the polls. With blessing of Stellarx I will be taking over the SECOND *woot* of hopefully many polls to come.

The goal is to provide accurate and considerable data, to paint a picture of what the people want, and to answer the question: Who will be crowned the People's Champ?

DC People's Champ Poll Reloaded Rules

The Poll is open to HCRealms members only. Vote by replying to this thread, abiding by the following rules:

1) List the top ten different characters you want to see made. Duplicate votes for the same character will be ignored. Additional votes beyond the first 10 listed will be ignored. Please vote for individual characters, not teams. Be absolutely specific about your character choices - do not assume the poll administrator knows who/what you are referring-to.

2) One set of 10 votes per member only. If members are suspected of using multiple membership IDs, duplicate votes will be deleted/ignored. All votes must be cast in the same reply (not spread over several replies).

3) You can list characters that have yet to be made, or ones that you would like to see remade, excluding previous poll winners.

4) Due to the large number of characters, some specific details must be ignored for example…

a) Nightcrawler (HSS), Nightcrawler (Uncanny X-Men), and Nightcrawler (issue 97) would all be tabulated as Nightcrawler.

b) Nightcrawler (X-Men) or Nightcrawler (Ultimate X-Men) will be considered different characters, each with their own entry.

c) Alternate reality portrayals of characters such as Magneto (Age Of Apocalypse) will be considered different characters than their Earth-616 counterparts, with their own entry.

d) Characters who underwent a costume AND name change such as Warren Worthington III (Angel/Archangel) will have different listings for each incarnation.

5) Once submitted, votes cannot be changed, though future polls will certainly occur.

6) The previous poll winners – DEATHSTROKE , DOOMSDAY AND GREEN LANTERN ALAN SCOTT - are ineligible for votes in this poll. Any votes cast for these characters will be ignored.

Please note that for reasons of practicality, the standings will only show characters with a minimum of 10 votes. However ALL votes will be recorded in our master database. Feel free to list any comments or feedback along with your choices. Nightcrawler (transporter, X-Men, issue 97, original costume with HSS and a 20 defense) may not be able to be tabulated effectively, but its always great to hear what you have to say.

Keep in mind that Wizkids has already made decisions on character selection for the upcoming sets, so it may take some time before they could make use of any information from the poll, if they choose to do so.

The poll will continue to run until the content of the next DC set is revealed, at which point, we will crown the new People's Champ and commence a new poll.

NB: Standings will be regularly updated on a page-by-page basis to show how the poll develops over time. Initially, this means that very few characters will be listed but this will soon grow, with daily page updates!

Characters confirmed as appearing in the next DC expansion will appear in bold type. All characters are Earth- PRIME versions unless otherwise stated.

4. Brainiac 5 remake - this guy needs a remake in the DCU more than ANYONE.
5. Jimmy Olsen - preferably one that goes through a myriad of changes. From Elastic Lad to Turtle boy and so on.
6. Cyborg remake - Teen Titans should always be legal, and these guys need to be brought into the Modern Age. They should've knocked out some duos of these guys. Cyborg needs a remake the most after Gar.
7. Lightray - Fourth World stuff is desperate for new pieces. You could do a top ten just of that and NOT list any remakes.
8. Mr. Atom - there are not near enough Monster Society of Evil pieces
9. Kamandi
10. Big Barda remake - previous versions are criminal

There are so many teams that need fleshing out, too (as mentioned by others) - Freedom Force, JSA, All-Star Squadron, LoSH, Brotherhood of Evil (plasmus, brain and mallah need more villainous cohorts), Outsiders, Doom Patrol (morrison era), Great Ten (we'll NEVER see this get completed), etc. etc.

Im tired of the usual Superman. "Oh, superman is soooo fast, so he HAS to have hypo." But when we get him (icons vet) all he is used for is 'pick up heavy object, hypo out, hit someone for 7+ dmg(depending on perplex), then running back and hiding.....then repeat. I dont see supes in comics doing that very often. Its cowardice. He's fast, yeah. But he stays in their face. Especially Red Son. hence the full charge. And if your getting hit by him.....thats where the free force blast comes in. And superman isnt one to full force hit someone right off the bat. (get it? bat? red sons biggest enemy(at least in my book)) He goes full force when he see's that his enemy isnt going down without a big fight.
So no, I didnt give him 5 (or 6) dmg right at the start. Red Son deserves a good dial.....And I think this represents him perfectly.
And the trait? think its cheap? Its Superman! duh. He's completely able to dodge just about anything if he wanted to.

It's a good thing you limited us to ten. I could make a whole 60 figure set, at least, out of characters that need to be made and haven't been made yet, and probably another one of the needed remakes. I curse the lost year of 2009.

And for the record, even though I'm a DC guy, I feel like it's even worse for Marvel. I could make entire sets of cosmic and horror stuff that we need from Marvel, and that's not including the desperately needed remakes of the X-Men [thankfully coming, but once again, we almost need two sets] and the Avengers.

I also probably feel like DC is closer to caught up because of the heavy Batman and Lantern subthemes in the last few sets. I'd probably have a different opinion if I was way into Superman or Legion.

Ah, finally, a people's choice for DC again! I was thinking it was long in coming after the Marvel one. Without further ado, my votes are:

1. Eradicator (after all this time and the last key player of the "Reign of the Supermen" is still unrepresented?!!)
2. Composite Superman (one that can beat the tar out of Supes, Bats and the entire LoSH)
3. Cheetah (The Icons ones were great but come on, Wondy's favorite sparring partner needs an upgrade already!)
4. Lois Lane (and this one better be able to hold her own, boost Superman/Superman allies and put useless Mary Jane Parker in her place... extra points if sculpted with the Erica Durance version from Smallville!).
5. Zod, Ursa and Non (You can't put one and not the others, people! Extra points if they're dressed up in the Superman 2 disco duds!)
6. Superman Prime- from DC One Million/All-Star Superman, all in his gold plated glory
7. Waverider (They made Extant and Monarch! How can you not have Waverider???)
