Who is Taskmaster???

Admittedly, I do not know near enough about comic classics such as Hulk and Iron Man, I just never got into them. I have never heard of taskmaster. His stats are great, but his info is not even on the Marvel Directory that is so good at giving descriptions. Please help me out.

im not to sure on who he is origin wise

but he has appeared in spiderman before and thats what i collect i know he had a mini series last year didnt read and they changed his outfit


i know him as having a cape with a skull type of face mask with a shield like captain america and he has un uncanny ability to copy any type of attack or movement just by seeing it once

pretty good power if you ask me

sorry i can elaborate but thats as much as i know about him for now

The Taskmaster is/was a mercenary who used to frequently face the Avengers. His power is Photographic Reflexes. That is to say, if he sees something done once he can mimic the move. Through careful observation he has duplicated the fighting styles of Elektra, Daredevil, Captain America, Spider-Man and probably a few more. He can basically do anything he's ever seen done. In a recent miniseries he trained himself to catch bullets in mid-air and to fight at lightning fast speed by watching Hong Kong action flix in fast forward.

He ran a training school for mercenaries too. He trained one or two of the Spymasters and I think the Cap villain Crossbones too. He recently shut down the school and is concentrating on being a mercenary again. He's in almost every issue of Agent X in some capacity.

The greatest thing about Taskmaster is that his fig has a very new costume...like one from just the last couple of years. This gives me hope that we'll see an Agent X fig or a current Iron Man armor fig.

Taskmaster is a sick charter that has been poorly written over the years and the reworte well and then morted out agian. His old coustume made him look like a mort but he is not his powers are ill he can copy any any movement he has ever bore witness to and he is a smart buisness man as well deciding at a point in his carrer that it was more lucritve to train other people to fight superhero. He collects the checks stay out trouble with the law and does not get punched in the face.

They should make a taskmasster team ability, all the hencmen should automatically have assuming he trains henchmen con artist should have it to and the thug that would be an arrmy to rival S.H.I.E.L.D because taskmaster would kick NIck butt. He has memorized everyones moves he has ever fought and some peoples he hasn't is a force!

When he started out he was just a guy with some fighting moves he had picked up. However, after a few years being in a world where heroes are constantly doing impressive physical feats someone with photographic reflexes can keep getting better and better just by watching the evening news.

In his classic costume he carried a sword, a shield, bow and arrows and a gun. He could use each of these objects as well as Black Knight, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Bullseye(I think, might be Punisher).

For awhile he got out of the super-villian business and started training people for Hydra and like organizations. I don't know if any of his students became well known, but I remember reading a Spider-Man where Spidey had to fight three people Taskmaster had trained to fight like Captain America, Hawkeye and Spider-man. He used money he got from this to tour the world picking up more skills as he went.

Currently he usually carries a sword a couple guns and has the photoelectronic shield Captain America, or a copy of it; the photo electronic device can also duplicate Spider-man's webbing, and a hologram projector similar to the type that Nightcrawler uses to walk around normal people without appearing to be a fuzzy blue guy with a tail. In his miniseries and the first issue Agent X he demonstrated: agility on par with Daredevil and Spider-man(or as close as an unaltered human body can get), the ability to walk over pressure sensitve floors without setting them off, judo skills to toss Ironman across the room, medical knowelege and will power enough to remove a bullet and sew himself up without, appearently without pain killers, Punisher's marksmen ship, Sliver Samurai's swordsmanship, the ability to fight at double his peak speed after watching some kung-fu movies in fast forward, and mastery of Spider-man's, Electra's and Wolverine's fighting styles and weaponery(web shooters, sais and hand claws).

In addition to Photographic reflexes he has displayed photographic memory, the ability to mimic voices well enough to get past Stark Industries security, and the ability to catch bullets.

Taskmaster is one of my favorite villians/chars just because he is super cool in his ability/power, but remember, I may know all of Bruce Lee's moves, but still get my ### beat. It's not just knowing the moves, but knowing when and what move to do that wins a fight.

But i do loves me some taskmaster!
