X-Men Strategy Help

This is for a rematch from my victory last night but @ 400 pts Silver age. We both agreed to use the same 300 pt teams as before but adding another 100 pts to the roster. So I'm gonna add LE AW Wolverine to work w/ Beast & Pete Wisdom to add additional firepower placed in cover.

Here's the team he used last night:

Indy E Scarab

AV E Shang Chi
WoS R Daken

as you can see, only 2 shooters here, vs my 3 running shot, so he got gunned down pretty good before he managed to get into close combat range where he was already weakened & was taken apart. We used his sciencells map which I feel was a poor choice for his team but hey.

I know he's adding some more shooters to his list. V Echo & E Abbey Chase w/ what he said last night.

Next game I get to pick the map, but our venue doesn't support heroclix for anything other than sales so it's up to us to provide the maps & I have the FF starter map, great arena, WoS bridge, & the deep space map. I have the airport on the way but it sure won't be here by sunday.

So, being new as I am (last night was my first game & victory) what should I choose for map that would best suit my team & any tips for the team I've assembled?

I would suggest the bridge or the arena. The arena is a great easy map that would be an absolute shooting gallery for you. While not quite as much, the bridge is still open. Avoid the space map, it nerfs your range and increases your opponent's mobility.
