Congo Bill and Congorilla are awesome and THAT is the Crimson Avenger I was hoping for!!!
Oh well, I have plenty of extra bases and the mod shouldn't be too terribly difficult - but yours is great! Kudos!

Lian Harper was the young daughter of Roy Harper a.k.a. Red Arrow, Arsenal and one time Speedy the sidekick of Green Arrow. She was crushed to death by tons of rubble as a massive earthquake caused by super villains leveled the building and city that she lived in. That mod was done in very bad taste and anyone who thinks that children being crushed to death and being represented as a mod is funny is mentally disturbed and needs some help.

So adults being crushed is ok?! While the mod is "questionable" in taste-it was probably done for humor and "flavor", and (just a guess) probably not with malicious intent. Let's not over-react here.

i gotta agree with this!! that reaction reminded me of the time i posted a pic of a mod i did of superman in a wheel chair and labeled it christopher reeve... half of the comments were saying how horrible it was and how could i make such a thing and how horrible i was for making it....once i told them that i thought christopher reeve will always be superman no mater what and that it was not meant to be making fun of him everyone was ok with it.

Who said anything about adults being crushed being ok? I sure didn't and you are just trying to twist my own comments back on me somehow in a DB move to try and defend the OP and his mod. Making a mod of a little girl crushed to death under rubble is beyond disturbing. Read "Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal" mini series and see if it changes your mind or even just take a second and think that even though Lian Harper is a fictional character, it is still a mod of a dead child.
I also find this quote troubling as well from the OP

I don't think I need a psychiatry degree to determine that people that find dead children (fictional or not) funny need some help. I'm surprised that you as a parent find that insulting, but everyone has their own opinion. To each their own.

I find it very disturbing as a matter of fact.
Not UH's mod, but the editorial decision of DC to have killed the fictional child in the first place.
I see UH's mod as a subtle jab at that decision and I applaud it.

All really great. I love your mods for your pogs, considering I use most of them and would love 3-dimensional representations for when I use them.
Your Nightcrawler is exactly what I have in mind for my own Nightcrawler mod. But so far I've been too lazy and just took apart the FF sculpt and it's been sitting there since.
@ Azrael- comparing sanity in game where people use homicidal maniacs (joker), genocidal terrorists (various aliens), and act out battles of super-powered violence is pointless.
How sane is it to play with 2-inch tall plastic figures and act out fights?

Considering that Liam Harper bystander tokens are 1 point, their gameplay function essentially boils down to mobile blocking terrain and the cheapest form of mastermind fodder.
If throwing small children into gunfights and hiding behind them, or using them as body shields when someone tries to attack you is considered in any better taste than being killed by rubble from a destroyed wall, I'll be Hit-Monkey's Uncle. I considered this mod a very appropriate social commentary in regards to Bystander Rights everywhere. Bystanders are figures too; they deserve our respect, not just to be jogged to death so they can activate Big Figure's special power.
I don't think heroclix is game for people who are concerned about imaginary death. All the mods look good, including the Lian harper.

I'm not twisting anything-I'm just sick of all the "oh think of the children" BS that people pull-for little to no reason. Now if UH made nothing BUT mods of dead/dying children-then, yeah, there's probably something sick and wrong going on, but I don't think that is the case. I'm not defending UH in particular, I'm just responding to an over-reaction that I see too often and that I see as self-righteousness. I'm not saying you are wrong and UH is right, I'm saying that you need to tone it down and stop the "sky is falling" crap. Did anyone get hurt due to this mod? No. Is there a problem then?

Yeah its hot glue. The Clear hot glue is painted with a purple wash. The silver hot glue is just a "Smokey effect" at the top and bottom of the cloud. Its hard to work with (just as greenstuff is). The trick is to do a little at a time and take the still hot piece and stick it under a running faucet. This solidifies it. Then use a small sharp pair of scissors to trim any unwanted glue. Add more hot glue on top of that and repeat.

For the folks that have asked: The air-tight coin holders are the size to fit a 50 cent piece. I do not how they get their MM measurements. I don't know if they measure I.D. or O.D. The O.D. of the ones I used are 35mm. I bought them from a local coin store (which I suggest as I've order the wrong size over the internet)

Why does everyone think pogs are just meat shields? Has no one played a scenario where you have to kidnap/rescue the bystanders from an opponent's team as a victory condition, rather than slug it out for points? Getting Aunt May back from Dr. Octopus couldn't be more comic accurate.
That being said, ignore me too, I find the Lian Harper pog in poor taste. I wasn't going to say anything, but along with a well-made but clichee'd drunken Tony Stark, I just don't see the humor in it.

Do you not think that accusing someone of mental instability is "big"? Because myself, I find it to be a very heavy and serious accusation. It surprises me that you think it insulting to depict a tragic incident involving a fictional child yet you are ready to make an insulting judgement on the psychological state of a (non-fictional) stranger. You shouldn't be surprised that people have reacted as they have.

I'm not on any forums where I have experienced a lot of the bleeding heart enabling BS (except your little deal here). (And I can't believe I just said that since I am not by any means a conservative!)
The world is bigger than the internet, and you just have to follow the news and have personal experiences to realize that BS like yours is becoming more and more prevalent in today's society. I don't have to prove anything-we live in a world where people are suing McDonalds for making them (the people suing) fat. What a joke!
Instead of spending time lecturing folks on an online forum about the immoralities of making a mod you find offensive about an imaginary child, why don't you go and do some volunteer work at a battered women and children's shelter and do some REAL good instead of barking from your high horse? If you had said something like "I find this mod in bad taste" and left it at that instead of inferring that everyone who did not agree with you is sick and twisted, I think you would have found that people would have been more respectful of you and your opinion.

I was going to just let this go, but now you have me curious. I find it very hypocritical that you are going to bash me for "spending my time lecturing folks" with my "BS," but are you not doing the same thing by telling me how to think and what to do with my time? Since you are so qualified to lecture me from your "high horse," then maybe you can enlighten me on your own personal experiences and how you spend your time. I'm curious as to the "REAL good" that you do and all of the experience that you have had that makes you qualified to tell me what I should and shouldn't do.
Also, what I said was:
That mod was done in very bad taste and anyone who thinks that children being crushed to death and being represented as a mod is funny is mentally disturbed and needs some help.
Once again you are putting words in my mouth by saying that I called people "sick and twisted." If you are going to quote me, then at least use the words that I actually used and in the proper context instead of trying to change it to strengthen your argument.

Once again you are putting words in my mouth by saying that I called people "sick and twisted." If you are going to quote me, then at least use the words that I actually used and in the proper context instead of trying to change it to strengthen your argument.
