It's been suggested that the Red Lantern Guy dial isn't bad for a regular representation of him as well. I had a spare, so...

Nicely done! I plan to do a couple of Guy mods myself. One to green and one to really red. It still irks me that his factory paint is much closer to Larfleeze in color then to Atrocitus. I'm considering playing around with inks as well to try to keep the construct bits transparent.

No, I do not. His symbol/vest still look a little sloppy, to be frank! I need to retouch that area.

He's quite tricky to paint, with all the crossed limbs and the chainsaw.

It looked tricky when I first looked at him......that was why I was asking. :p Sometimes it's easier to get by a tricky area when I can see how it can be done.

Gosh, I'm not sure why people had such a problem with his color. I pulled him out and said "Oh my gosh! They made a TRON Guy Gardner! This is my favorite piece of the whole set next to Flash." And so he is.

Awesome job Mouse. I'll have to try it if I get a second.

Wondered about that myself, but green and red do not orange make? No matter how many times I piddle around with the color mix, it doesn't look like orange!

I know, DC got their primary and secondary colors mixed...it should come out brown/grey. Oh, well.

I can *almost* accept that, but the fact that there is an Orange "emotion"/Corps makes that a poor choice. As to the color combining, you'd get brown/black in subtractive colors like paint pigment. Actual additive colors like light itself would get you yellow with an even mix of red and green. So maybe he is *more* red than green and thus has an orange-ish tint? Makes sense for colors of light but seems to break down when mapping the "emotional spectrum". "Willpower" plus "rage" equals "greed"?

I have zero issue with that... especially since this has played out/drifted on.

I did play my Green Guy this week, and had a lot of fun with him on a JLI team. Mostly I did well because my opponents all had lousy rolls though.

Well he looks great! I was going to put my JL Guy on the new dial, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I played my Red Lantern Guy and Atocitus and had to pit both against Doomsday. Based Dooms with Atrocy and Guy was ranging him. I didn't roll over a 7 against him with either figure. Darn 19 defense.

So I know how the other players were feeling.

It is a good repaint, but it maybe better without the chainsaw (at least for me it would be).

I don't think posting links after they have been up for a while is an issue.............now if you started posting other pics (directly) into a thread too early I could see some people having issues. I wouldn't mind (in most cases) but I could see the issue.

Nice, I've only used Guy once so far and he ate a Mongul and a SR Sinestro in that game almost by himself(Mongul did himself no favors in missing Guy twice).

I already repainted my extra Guy red, it was a fairly easy repaint to do. So if you want to de-orange yours, I'd say you could probably do it yourself as it wasn't very hard.
