Aside from Batgirl, I hadn't heard than any of those were confirmed. Glad to hear it on the Penguin. Jon Stewart I kinda figured.

We can speculate all we want, though. What we really need is someone to leak another playtester list.

Can I just say how exciting it is that there's finally some solid info on a new DC set? We've been waiting how long with just a "later this year" and not a single figure confirmed. Finally some respect.
I like Marvel all right, but really I am so ready for more DC figures. Let's see some of those under- or non-represented teams.

I don't know why all of you are complaining about John Stewart; we'll get the others don't worry, even it it takes another expansion.

Personally I'd love to have ALL the GLs on my force; imagine a team consisting of only Green Lanterns?

Other people who have posted here claim to have seen a Poison Ivy. People who have spoken to WizKids staff say that there will be an Electric Blue version of Superman, and Plastic Man disguised as a mailbox.

Well, I'd rather Hal than John, but I'd rather John than Kyle. I have a feeling we'll get all three though. And Alan as a Unique, probably sans JSA for some arcane reason.

I hope they don't put too many Bat-figures in this set. Nothing against Batman, of course, it's just that the last set was about a third Batman when you add it all up, and I'd like to see some other stuff explored.

I'm really happy about Bizarro. It's probably too much to hope for that he has the sign around his neck and the backwards symbol, but you never know.

As long as there's no Parallax or Hal Jordan Spectre, I think this'll be a great set.

Marvel's "Pineapple" was leaked by a Wizkids insider. It proved to be an official list - very accurate.

What you're doing is usually taken care of on the Rumored/Confirmed figures threads.

And again, I'll say it. I think this is a fake list as well.

1. Look at the Marvel expansions. Clobberin' Time and Xplosion. Both had a theme. CT was Fantastic 4 and XP was X-Men.

That list doesn't say Cosmic Justice to me at all.

2. Why would the figures be called Green Lantern-Sentinel or Green Lantern-John Stewart? Doesn't make any sense.

Cyborvenom, why do you think they changed the name from Emareld Knights to COSMIC JUSTICE, because they wanted to include everybody, and the Green Lanterns do have somthing to do with cosmic justice, JLA and JSA do to, and you cant say you dont see anybody on the list that has never been in any of the groups mentioned!

Well, we'll see if they wig out or not. After the Pineapple dropped, the mods of this site absolutely freaked, and pulled every thread that even referenced it. That's why the term "Pineapple" began, because people were afraid to even say the word "List" in their posts. It needed a codeword.

If this thread, and the one in the General Discussion area, are still around in three or four days, then I'd agree its fake...

Three things make me think the list is a fake (or at least inaccurate):

1.) No new medics. Every Marvel expansion has included medics, but I'm not seeing any here.
2.) No Legionnaires. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
3.) Not enough obscure characters. One of the things I love about Clix is the inclusion of oddball characters that not many people are clamoring for, such as Moondragon and Doc Samson. It just seems too much like a wish list.

While this is a creative list (and I wouldn't mind if the set followed it) ... its not real.

Why? Since I read on another thread this list being proposed as what someone wanted to see.

Not the LIST, pineapple, kiwi, or any other kind of fruit.

I mean, it looks fairly believable to me so far...

But one of the points brought up was that it had too many big name characters, and not enough "Junk". Well, to that point, I'd say that keep in mind, reportedly DC only has signed up for three sets total. Its only a rumor, but its pretty pervasive. Plus, by the time this comes out, it will have been almost a YEAR since any new DC Clix hit the markets, so they'd be smart to do anything in their power to make the fans happy. That includes firing all of their "Big Guns" at once.

Pervasive doesn't mean true, though.

My problem with this logic:
*If* the contract rumor was true, which I *severely* doubt, then they would know how many expansions they would have slated from the beginning. So why would the main release include such 'famous' faces as T.O.Morrow and Changeling, and to a lesser extent, Desaad, the Key and Arcane?

Well, a lot of people got faked out when the twinz posted this and claimed it was the real deal (myself included).

Turns out it was fake of course :( .

But there IS a lesson to be learned.

Do you all remember when the Pineapple dropped? And Whizkids and the site Mods flipped out?

In their "warning threads" about it, they stated they wouldn't comment on the validity of the list (of course). But in order to give a reason why they would pull the list even if it was fake (just so that pulling it wouldn't give the list credibility), they stated something to the effect that - "The list was so genuine looking that it may fool Marvel reps, or give them pause" or something to that effect.

Well, if that was true, a list like this would have gotten pulled too.

It was "real looking" enough to fool a lot of us.

So from here on out, the reaction of the mods and Whizkids can essentially be taken as the ultimate barometer of authenticity. No?
